Early-Career

Ten years ago I was a payroll analyst drowning in spreadsheets. Then I discovered 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and built a bot that did my job in 4 hours. That experiment became a career - and a mission.

Saudi Arabia just deployed 600,000 GPUs in one deal. 

Most countries are still debating AI policy. 

Saudi is building the infrastructure. 

- xAI's first international data center. 
- AWS deploying 150K chips. 
- Luma AI getting $900M and a 2GW supercluster. 

All in Saudi Arabia. All in the last week. 

Here's what's actually happening: 

The AI race isn't about who builds the best model anymore. It's about who controls the compute power to train them. 

Saudi Arabia isn't buying AI companies. 

They're buying the foundation those companies depend on. 

And while Silicon Valley fights over talent and fundraising, Saudi is locking down something harder to replicate: massive energy and infrastructure capacity. 

The shift: 

AI power is moving from who writes the best code to who can power the biggest clusters.

Deloitte charged Canadian provincial govt $1.6 million for a health report. 

It contained fake citations. AI hallucinations. 

This is the second incident in a month. 

Australia got a partial refund. Now every client has precedent to demand money back. 

Here's the brutal irony: 

Consulting firms rushed to use AI to protect margins. 

Instead, they're creating the liability that kills them. 

You can't charge premium rates for robot errors. 

And you can't compete with clients who just buy the same AI tools for $20/month. 

The big four spent decades selling expertise and judgment. 

Now they're proving neither exists when a chatbot does the work. 

Every AI error isn't just a mistake. It's evidence their moat is gone. 

This isn't about Deloitte. 

It's about every professional services firm pretending AI is a tool, when it's actually their replacement. 

The companies that survive won't be the ones using AI best. 

They'll be the ones honest about what AI can't do. 

The refunds are just starting.

80+ new AI unicorns in 2025 alone. 

That's more than 1 new billion-dollar company every 5 days. 

But here's what the data really tells us: 

The barrier to starting an AI company has dropped to zero. 

Anyone with an API key can build something now. 

The hard part? Building something people actually pay for. 

Most of these unicorns will be worth $0 in 3 years. 

Because high valuations don't equal real revenue. 

The winners won't be the ones with the best AI models. 

They'll be the ones solving actual problems for actual customers. 

So if you're building in AI right now, ignore the hype cycle. 

Talk to 10 potential customers this week. 

Find the problem that keeps them up at night. 

Then use AI to solve it. 

The gold rush creates noise. 

But the builders who listen will win.
