I'm on a journey to help as many brands selling on Amazon & TikTok Shop as possible. Before I dive into that let me tell you how this all started.

My brother and I started selling our brand on Amazon (with the knowledge of a few "courses") to make a long story short there was a lot of learning, mistakes made, and suffering.... to the point where enough was enough.

We got our hands dirty attended all kinds of webinars, bought more courses, spoke to more people within the Amazon world, and BOOM... we started developing our own dream team.

We then realized how far we've come and how there are so many other brands out there that are suffering the way we were a few years ago...

Back to the whole "on a journey to help other brands succeed on Amazon."

A brand on TikTok Shop hit $150K/month then crash back to $50K.

Here's what happened:
A brand doing $6-7M on Amazon (their main channel) found 2 creators who crushed it on TikTok Shop. Sales spiked to $150K/month. Then those creators moved on. Revenue dropped 66% in weeks.

Zero creator retention = zero compound growth.

The diagnosis →
- No VIP creator tier
- No relationship infrastructure
- No creative system to capture what worked
- Treating affiliates like a commodity instead of partners

The fix:
- Lock in top 5-10 creators with retainer deals
- Build a VIP creator community (Slack/Discord)
- Host events, send gifts, create real relationships
- Turn winning content into creative briefs for other creators
- Build strategic bundles (they have cross-sellable SKUs they weren't leveraging)

This brand already has product-market fit.
They already have proof creators can move volume.
They're just missing the retention layer.

Most brands get stuck here because they think finding creators is the hard part. It's not. Keeping them is.

Live shopping will eat a bigger slice of e-commerce this year than most brands are ready for on and off of TikTok Shop...

In China, 20-25% of all digital sales happen through live streams.
In the US? Less than 2%.

That gap won't stay this wide.

Gen Z and Millennials already watch streamers for hours.
Twitch. YouTube. TikTok.
They're conditioned to sit in a live environment.
The only difference: nobody's selling them anything yet.

When brands figure out how to monetize that attention, it's game over.

Think about it:

Live shopping is just a digital sales rep with gamification built in.
Real-time questions. Real-time answers. Real-time checkout.
No friction. No bounce rate. No landing page.

The brands that build live selling systems now will have a 12-18 month head start before this becomes saturated.

We're running 1-2 lives per month for clients on TikTok Shop.
Testing formats. Training hosts. Tracking what converts.

Most brands are still sleeping on this.

A creator who has sold over $15M in GMV just explained what she looks for before promoting a brand...

I was listening to a podcast with a top TikTok Shop affiliate. She broke down her vetting process, the exact checklist she runs through before deciding to promote anything.

Here's what separates brands she'll work with from the ones she ignores:

→ Sufficient inventory (she won't risk her audience on stockouts)
→ Social proof on TikTok or off-platform (credibility matters)
→ A wow factor she can latch onto and display in content

But here's what caught my attention:

She actively hunts for brands participating in programs like the Spotlight Day Program and all of TikTok's other initiatives.

Why?

TikTok pushes the hell out of brands that are eligible. You get crazy exposure. Tons of different placements across TikTok and TikTok Shop.

Most brands don't even know these programs exist.

Top creators do. And they're looking for brands smart enough to leverage them.

Most TikTok Shop sellers are skipping free growth... 

The Hero Program rewards you for sending samples and running ads. Qualify per SKU and your traffic and conversions jump without changing your offer.

What this unlocks:

 • Priority in the affiliate marketplace

How to access it:
1. Find it: open Seller Center, type “Hero” in search, and bookmark the page.
2. Pick starters: choose SKUs that already convert or have strong reviews.
3. Seed creators: ship about 20 samples and log each send in a simple tracker.
4. Warm the SKU: put 200 to 400 into ads for that exact product.
5. Check back in 14 to 28 days: when perks show up, redeem credits right away.
6. Flip the switch: enable the Hero badge on the listing.
7. Roll it out across your catalog.

Do not miss this. It is the easiest lift you will get this quarter.

Two conversations are happening in Amazon ads with how accessible AMC data is.

Conversation A: “Which keywords can I tweak for a cheaper click?”
Conversation B: “Who are my buyers, how do they behave, and what actually nudges them to purchase?”

It is not about prettier dashboards or more impressions.

The part most teams miss:

• Ignore the steps customers take before they buy

Everyone’s chasing the same “top” creators on TikTok Shop.
Here’s the math:
 → 3.5M creators on the platform
 → ~50k did $1k+ in the last 28 days
 → We’re seeing a real supply crunch on proven, high-GMV talent

We’ve partnered with plenty of high performers lately
 ($100k–$600k GMV in the last 28 days).

 They’re great.
 But the takeaway isn’t “only hire whales.”

It’s this:
 Manually vet every creator for sales content, not views content.
 Then groom them.

Most of our wins start with creators under $50k GMV.

 They hit a home run with one of our brands, get proof, build confidence, and the creative snowball starts rolling.

How we groom lower-tier creators into hitters:

Creator vetting
 → Look for demos, problem-agitate-solve, clear offers
 → Check if they’ve sold similar price points before
 → Scan products being pushed. If too many brands are being pushed then DQ the creator
→ Post rate above 70% (Minimum)

Tiering
 → General pool vs VIPs
 → VIPs get tighter briefs, faster feedback, better offers, retainer deals etc

Content cadence
 → 3–5 posts per creator before judging
 → Leniency for testing angles: social proof, before-after, FAQ, UGC mashups

Feedback loop
 → Review  CTR, PDP view rate, ATC, and orders
 → Clip what moved units, kill what didn’t
 → Share wins across the roster to compound learning

Scale
 → Double down on creators who convert
 → Invite them to lives to spike GMV
 → Increase commission and exclusives as they earn it

Not saying skip high-GMV creators.
 I’m saying give the hungry ones a real shot and coach them.

 There aren’t enough whales to go around.

 But there are thousands of future VIPs if you build a system.

Here’s how I’d explain TikTok Shop to a 6th grader trying to scale to $100K+ per month.

It’s a simple loop.

Find what works.
 2. Do more of it.
 3. Ignore the rest.

Most people chase views and random creators.
They burn cash and stall.


Do this instead:

Research
 → Angles and hooks that already pull attention
 → Creators who fit your product
 → Competitors and what’s converting

Outreach
 → Mix of targeted DMs and open calls
 → Clear brief, clear offer

Conversions
 → Retainer, $100–$1000 for a set number of videos
 → Track GMV by creator, not vanity metrics

Run ads
 → Put budget behind creators who already drove sales
 → Reinvest winners, cut losers

Then loop it.

Winning angles and creators feed your next round of research.

That’s how you compound to $100K+.
