The Alberta Institute of Agrologists mandate is:

- to carry out its activities and govern its regulated members in a manner that protects and serves the public interest.
- provide direction to and regulate the practice of agrology by its regulated members,
- establish, maintain and enforce standards of practice, registration and continuing competence for the practice of agrology,
- establish, maintain and enforce a code of ethics, and
carry on the activities of the Institute and perform other duties and functions by the exercise of the powers conferred by the Agrology Profession Act.

The Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists exists so that the public is assured of receiving safe, competent, and ethical diagnostic and therapeutic care by a regulated and continually advancing profession. My role is that of a Public Board Member appointed by the Government of Alberta through an Order in Council.

Life Insurance Council of Alberta

The Alberta Life Insurance Council is a regulatory body responsible for the licensing and professional discipline of insurance agents in the Province of Alberta. The Councils are formed under the Insurance Act and they derive their authority from delegations from the Minister of Treasury Board and Finance. I was appointed as a Public Board Member, appointed by the Alberta government through an Order in Council. On November 6, 2019 became the Vice Chair of the Council.
