Been a while at SARAL, as their first growth hire. Still learning. I handle partnerships, branding, content, etc etc - full-stack, just like our product is :D 

Old update: Previously worked on revenue-focused initiatives for topline growth at Goodera. 

What remains the same: I love working with and collaborating across teams to craft engaging content and drive impactful marketing campaigns. I write, I work with designers, I know my way around Hubspot and a bunch of other tools. Usually, on top of all pop culture references.

There are so many unknowns in the world that I can't help but feel everything in your life happens for a reason. 

Two years ago, I saw a random LinkedIn post from a founder looking for a growth marketer to join their startup. Their first.

I don't remember the exact words, but I remember thinking, "This sounds like my dream job."

So without a second thought, I wrote an email telling them: I am who you're looking for.

The hiring took exactly 10 days (which included a 3-day vacation to Munnar 😁 ).

It's been 2 years since.... 🫡 

There's this thing about employee 'loyalty' and 'ownership'... 

Some employers think they can enforce it. Or worse – that they don't need it.

But good bosses know they need to build it. Nurture it. Brick by brick.

Yash Chavan is the latter kind.

When I was deciding whether to join SARAL, I called Yash and told him the honest truth: "Yash, I'm leaving a well-established position to start from scratch again. I have a great feeling about this decision." 

He said: "Muskan, I promise we will build something really f**ing awesome together."

And he has stood by that promise every single day.

I've had my fair share of ups and downs. But I can confidently say I've come out as a clearer, more confident thinker. Someone who can see the big picture and strives to be the best in the game.

And it happened because of a tiny decision I took 2 years ago.

I am incredibly proud of what we're building at SARAL. Each and every person on the team shows up every day to give their best and build their best. The next phase of our growth is going to be pivotal - we have the fuel and the fire - I'm so glad it's happening with the people we have. 

I talk so much about us that it's borderline annoying 😅 but I mean every word I say.

I've lost count of how many times I've had to stop myself from saying "I love you" to these ladies mid-conversation to maintain some semblance of professionalism. 😭 

But I love being surrounded by women 🥰
