This was way out in the country well few visitors would come, some kind neighbors or passers-by stopped and bought some of my stuff. I think that day I made $20, back in 1997. 

I learned the power of communicating with strangers and having no fear. Since that day, I have loved talking to people. I want to know why you tick, what matters to you, why you made the choice of clothes, food, trips, hotels and exercise. Market segmentation is about grouping people together as Seth Godin says, "People like us, do things like this."

As I was driving home from dropping off my kids the morning I lost my job.

I had a simple thought, "Today is going to be a good day. All will be well." In connection with this thought, I had this divine peace sweep over me. 

Until this very moment, I was excited about the possibility of getting a promotion I was trying to work hard for. 

Then, I remember looking up to heaven and saying out loud, "Wait... Does this mean I'm going to lose my job?" 

Within the hour, I was let go. 

BUT...

Because, I had chosen to trust God and not man. 

I felt peace and excitement about new opportunities.

Not burdened anymore by this job.

It's really important to me to find products or services that are serving their customers in an exceptional way. 

My desire is to learn all I can about the ideal customer and speak directly to them about how we solve their needs/wants.
