Women are still wildly under-hyped.

Not underqualified.

Not underperforming.

Just… under-hyped.

I see it constantly in the rooms I’m in.
Brilliant women running companies.
 -Designing strategy.
 -Holding teams together.
 -Building the systems that actually make businesses work.

And still saying things like:
“I’m just figuring it out.”
 “I’m not really the expert.”
 “I just handle operations.”

Meanwhile they’re quietly carrying entire organizations.

So in the spirit of Women’s History Month, I’m taking my own advice for a minute.

A little self-hype.

I don’t do band-aids. I build operations that scale.

As COO of Quimby Digital and in my fractional COO work, I spend my time diagnosing the structural problems that keep founder-led companies stuck.
Most founders think they have a team problem.

Usually they have a structure problem.

Roles are unclear.
 -Accountability lives with the founder.
 -Everyone is working hard but the system itself is broken.

Once leadership structure, ownership, and systems are aligned, something interesting happens.

The team stops burning out.
The founder stops carrying everything.
The company can actually grow again.

It’s not glamorous work.
But it’s the work that makes scaling possible.

And I get to do that work alongside some seriously impressive women.

So here’s my Women’s History Month challenge:
Take a minute and hype yourself.
Then tag a woman you work with who deserves some recognition too.

I’ll start by saying this clearly:
I’m proud of the work I do helping companies build the structure they need to grow.

And I’m proud to work alongside women who are building incredible things every day.

Your turn 🫰

Working behind the scenes at a social-first agency in parenting and women’s wellness has changed how I think about leadership.

I’m not client-facing.

I’m the COO at Quimby Digital. I build the systems that let our creatives and strategists do their best work.

And here’s what I’ve noticed in the parenting and fem wellness space:

The brands winning right now aren’t just selling products.

They’re building education.
They’re building community.
They’re building trust.

But here’s the part people don’t talk about:

You cannot build a trust-based brand on top of internal chaos.

If your team is exhausted…
If leadership is unclear…
If roles blur every time there’s pressure…

That energy shows up in the work.

Especially in categories that serve women and mothers.

Operational maturity is brand strategy.

Structure is not the opposite of creativity.
It’s what allows it to scale.

Getting to support companies reshaping how women experience motherhood and their bodies is meaningful.

But what makes it sustainable is the structure behind it.

That’s where I sit.
