Access to capital doesn't just influence an economy. 

It shapes the environment, the culture, and the mindset of the working class.

Coming from Pakistan, the concept of government-subsidized loans and grants for startups is entirely new to me.

Similarly, two years ago, when I arrived in the #UK, I had an agonising realization: almost every international student I met had a student loan from their home country.

In Pakistan, student loans are virtually non-existent.

Last night, a documentary from Raftar Official helped me connect the dots on why. 

It explained how our banks prioritize lending to the government over businesses and the public, a strange irony. 

This "people-first" financial mindset in the UK/EU explains why employee development and wellbeing receive far greater attention here. 

When a system invests in people, the culture follows. 

In Pakistan, we are often fighting against the environment just to perform.

Times are changing, and we must change too. Appreciate the work Farhan Mallick and the Raftar team are doing for social change.

I envision Neurowire leading this shift on the behavioral front with data and AI. 

Regardless of the macro-environment, every employee deserves to receive development support.

Spent last week at the World of Learning conference in London.

AI is flooding L&D with content. But is it changing behavior? 

Trends I noticed at the conference:

1. Video-based learning Content: 
A hot niche these days; with AI video tools like Synthesia and Colossyan, corporate training videos are becoming high-fidelity and hyper-fast (great for scenario-based training, market's getting noisier). 

2. Gamified Micro-learning: 
The ‘bite-sized’ trend is holding strong. Gamification (good job by 7taps Microlearning) and storytelling are the go-to solutions for skill-brushing.

3. The AI Training Flood: 
AI training providers are everywhere, everyone is racing to teach the world how to use AI — using AI. 

4. The Missing ‘Habit Layer’: 
While content is evolving, behavioral change and power skills are still stuck in the 20th century, with most companies still rely on one-off workshops/ traditional coaching; a massive "tech adoption gap" here.

The Shift: Organizations are starting to realize that "Executive Coaching" isn't enough. Learning needs-aware, organization-wide behavioral development is the future.

Signals to me that we (Neurowire) are operating in a low-crowd, high-reward niche: moving from "knowing" to "doing" by embedding nudge tech directly into the daily workflow.

A striking final observation: 
80% of the "diversity" in #global learning solutions stops at being multilingual. There is almost no consideration for local norms, budgets, or scenarios for non-western audiences; essentially leaving a quarter of the world population unserved! 

That's my capture. Keen to hear from SMEs/medium enterprise leaders, what are you investing in?

The more I use AI tools, the more I am convinced: we don't need more information, we need better judgment.

AI is a pattern matcher, not a reasoning engine.

To use it effectively, we need people who are creative, critical, and visionary. These are behaviors developed through practice and feedback, not just consumption.

This is why I'm building Neurowire.

We aren't building another micro-learning tool.

We are building a nudge engine that prompts the practice of essential human skills.

Closing the knowing-doing gap and saving millions companies loose on what people know vs. what they practice. 

Because we are pressure-testing our assumptions with behavioral experts, it is taking longer to get pilots running than I’d like. 

But each day reaffirms that this is the tool we will all need as the "Agentic Era" scales.

Do you think 'human judgment' can be taught through #traditionallearning, or is constant #practice the only way to keep up with AI?

Dumbfounded by what you can achieve with Manus AI in just 15 minutes!

Last night, I was on a call with my co-founder Muhammad Usman, who mentioned the $2B+ acquisition of the AI Agent startup, Manus, and suggested I give it a try.

At that moment, I was deep into comparing market sizes for Neurowire, and needed to collate stats on Pakistani enterprises across IT, Telco, Consulting, and Financial Services.

I gave a command, Manus fetched stats and presented them on a web page (link in comments) with impressive graphs and data visualisations. 

Though, it lacks precision in some stats, I can imagine how we can use the tool moving forward. 

The takeaway: building for the future begins with deeply understanding both the possibilities and the limitations of current products.

And using agents with the right judgment (in bold) can hugely collapse the busy work. 

P.S. I'm already trying it for storyboards and animated videos.

AI can out-process any team. But it can't out-think one. 

How do you ensure your people stay on the right side of that line?

As of 2026, the consensus from the World Economic Forum is clear: technical fluency is no longer the differentiator. 

The exclusive "Human Moat" consists of six core skills:

Critical thinking, emotional intelligence, ethical judgment, adaptability, resilience, and strategic communication.

The problem? You can’t “attend” your way into these capabilities.

If you think you can train curiosity or resilience the same way you train Excel formulas, you’re already off track. 

These aren't knowledge gaps, they are behavioral patterns under pressure.

Information is cheap. Execution is the new premium.

This is why we are building @Neurowire.

In an era of "AI FOMO" and layoff curves, we use AI to help humans become smarter, faster, and essential.

I was skeptical.

Every few weeks, our product description evolves.

Each time I sit down to answer questions on the target market, buyer persona, or distribution channels,

They seem different than what we'd initially expected. 

Well, it all made sense when, at a recent event, Momchil (former Converge challenge winner) said: 

"If your answers are the same after a few months, you aren't progressing.""

That resonated.

We have been running low-cost, small-scale experiments since the inception of Neurowire, which has significantly shaped our idea and business model. 

As a founder (and an AuDHD person), an inner voice keeps pushing me to stress-test every move we make.

And it's these shared experiences and reflections from other builders that keep you grounded and moving forward. Kudos to Strathclyde Inspire for building such a supportive ecosystem. 

To the founders out there: keep going forward!

The first step towards treating women as equals: 

Stop forcing the notions and choices (designed with a mens-first lens) on them. 

Let them shape their own destiny and,

Be the critical thinkers and decision makers the society so direly needs today.

Big Tech is currently subsidizing the future.

They are pouring billions into AI models operating at a #massive loss, betting that they’ll own the infrastructure of the next decade.

But what does this "Squeeze" mean for the rest of us?

For small businesses and startups, the choice seems binary:

1. Invest early: Feed the models, integrate the tools, and help them get better.

2. Wait and see: And risk losing the market to competitors who didn't wait.

The real sting? It’s not just the Big Tech giants we’re competing with. 

It’s the solo developer who builds an AI agent "for fun" over a weekend and accidentally replaces your entire service model.

In a world where agents can collapse months of work into 15 minutes, "business as usual" is a dangerous strategy.

I’m curious to hear from other founders: 

How are you future-proofing your business as we move from AI tools to autonomous AI agents?

How are you future proofing your competitive edge in AI era? 

Are the top 1% of tech companies purposely inducing AI FOMO?

Last week, Microsoft CEO's claim that "most white-collar work will be fully automated within 12 to 18 months" remained center of attention.

Strangely, few questioned the logistics: 

👉🏼Reports contradicting the '90% of all code within next 3-6 months will be generated by AI', even leading tech giants only generate 25-30% of their code with AI. 

👉🏼Klarna hiring back human workers for its customer support teams after AI led to lower customer satisfaction.

👉🏼Outside the top 10 countries, the AI adoption rate drops as low as 14.1%. Even the average rate in the Global North sits at roughly 24.7%.

👉🏼Above all, we lack fully satisfactory answers regarding data security and ethics, esp. as news emerges of recent military applications of some models.

Let's get it clear: currently, FOMO itself is the biggest driver for AI adoption rather than profitability.

Don’t get me wrong. I am all about building AI use cases. 

However, I want to reinforce two critical points:

1. We must stop market FOMO from inciting panic within the business community.

2. We must challenge the ethics and motivations of AI’s most powerful stakeholders before 'AI capture' becomes an inevitability.

Would love to hear from others in the AI space, is the 18-month AI-will-do-it-all timeline a reality or a marketing gimmick?

2026 is a wake-up call.

A mental model ‘Ladder of Inference’ describes how we unconsciously move from raw data to assumptions and, often flawed actions.

Right now, the raw data is devastating.

We are seeing the world plunged into another 'war of choice,' with zero consideration for the economic and social fallout borne by billions. 

Might is becoming right, and the global social contract is fraying.

This raises a serious concern for us as individuals. 

When the world is in chaos, our "data selection" becomes skewed by fear and rhetoric.

To navigate this, we must consume and analyze information unbiasedly, questioning which data we are selecting and why.

And most importantly: 

#AdaptOurActions. 

We must learn from the major events of 2026 to adapt our beliefs and ensure our future actions are rooted in values, rather than noise.

The responsibility to see clearly and act in accordance lies with each of us.

Justice sensitivity is not the only problem.

If you're neurodivergent, your innate ability to recognize patterns emerging across different sources of data also contributes to the torpedoing of emotional unrest.

You CAN'T simply overlook the connection between an AI military startup funded by the same tech billionaires who are leading the 'Renaissance' in Silicon Valley,

At the very same time when soldiers are turning in complaints about being told of finding Armageddon through a bloody war.

You can't simply ignore the connection between the 300 million pages of Epstein files unveiling pedophiles, the deaths of 70,000+ children in Gaza, and a war engulfing an entire region.

Justice sensitivity, paired with systems thinking and a determination to stand for what's right, is why some of us are not doing okay at the moment.

The world will eventually return to a 'new normal.'

Is AI the "New Scapegoat" for Bad Management?

Jack Dorsey just announced that Block is cutting 4,000 jobs nearly half its workforce to become "intelligence-native." 

The market’s response? A 25% stock jump.

But strangely, not many of us are looking past the "AI magic" narrative.

Between 2019 and 2025, Block’s headcount nearly #tripled. 

Now, like many in Big Tech, they are trimming the pandemic-era bloat. Blaming AI sounds like a "forward-thinking strategy" to investors, but as Sam Altman recently pointed out, 

It's often just "AI Washing" masking routine cost-cutting with a tech-heavy excuse.

We saw this with Klarna: they cut 40% of their support staff for AI, only to realize that over-optimizing for cost can destroy customer experience.

The Lesson: AI is a powerful tool, but using it as a shield for restructuring is a short-term game. 

For the outsourcing industry, the real threat isn't just "AI replacing humans" it's companies losing their "human-centric" value in a race for margin.
