At Innovify, working alongside the founders, my role has seen the length and breadth of the Sales & Marketing side of the business. I have been part a part of:

- Company's own Fashion Ecommerce Marketplace (Business Development, Operations, Marketing & Tech)
- Partnership Marketing for the Incubation/MSP business
- Company's entry into the US/MENA regions & end-to-end sales management
- UK Government's Project Bidding (Prestigious MCF-CCS Program) (Core team member)

My work had a direct impact on the success/outcomes for the business unit I managed/was a part of. Apart from numerous other activities, below were the main ones:

- Understanding the product/services that have to be taken to market or custom initiative's objective/s.
- Identifying the target persona for creating the perfect pitch & sales/communication collaterals.
- Collaborate with the data analysis team for research on IPP (Ideal Prospect Profile) with online tools like LinkedIn, Email Marketing, Outbound Calling, etc. Giving inputs to the Digital Marketing Team, Utilizing Social Media for increased reach, discovering ways to run unique campaigns for lead generation & conversion.
- Establish contact, followup, and maintain an up-to-date CRM to get proper visibility on the Sales Pipeline.
- Keeping engaged prospects, providing demo/s, objection handling, and closing opportunities in terms of revenue, terms of association/partnership, or in-person meeting depending on the campaign objective/s.
- Being a responsible salesperson and executing Customer Success tactics to ensure value is created and transferred. Being in touch with all touchpoints of the organization to see things are going smoothly and being a SPOC for crisis management.
- Dealing with a lot of 3rd parties and affiliates and to see that things are running smoothly.

This was an all-encompassing role wherein I managed different team members, mostly started greenfield. This truly was an opportunity to be an intrapreneur and drive outcomes.

Business Development Manager

In this position, I was directly working with the Founder CEO and the board and except for highly strategic matters, I was running the platform like an entrepreneur owning, deciding, and managing everything.

- Designer (Our Primary Vendors) Acquisition (Domestic and International). Source Lead / Initiate / Discuss / Negotiate / Close business and onboard them on to our unique fashion marketplace.

- Foster a relationship with them. Interact with them regarding the variables of industry and get suitable products to be listed on the portal to make it a curated platform.

- Drive overall vendor/category acquisition, drive growth for designers. Suggest suitable call to actions to them.

- An active part of the overall marketing of the portal ranging from PPC planning, series of high volume mail campaigns, newsletter/product promotions planning and execution, monitoring results of the campaign and acquire learning to drive actionable results.

- Represent the brand AtMayfair at various outdoor/offline events. Attended prestigious Lakme Fashion Week (AW '15) and Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW SS '16) to meet and interact with industry peers and source opportunities for AtMayfair.com

- Closely working with the management for piloting for Fashion PAAS (Platform As A Service) / VAS (Value Added Services).

- Coordinate with the content team, data team, designing team, development team, and unionize the goals for the platform.

- Managing the team of direct and indirect reports.

- This is an all-encompassing role wherein the prima facie objective is to let out the intrapreneur and manage effectively all the different wagons in order to make a train.

- Sales of flagship product - eMenu (www.eMenuWorld.com), which is a digital menu solution and portfolio of digital menu solutions for the hospitality segment. Later additions to EMenu were Foodipto and Waiterman, similar solutions with a rebranding, along with being available on SAAS.

- Creating strategic partnerships (Channel Partners) across countries in a manner that helps eMenu widen its wings across the globe.

- Providing virtual demo to B2B and B2C parties to help them visualize and realize the solution which leads to effective closure.

- Nurture and develop existing partnerships/accounts and focus on upselling/cross-selling.

- Take care of partners and address their needs for training, sales, digital marketing, team management, and business development.

- Create and execute customized mass mailing campaigns for them, monitor campaign performance, analyze results and extract actionable steps from the learning.

- Explore opportunities for given portal services in untapped markets.

- Catering to client needs in terms of their recruitment planning, recommending & selling the services, i.e. value based selling, for the same.

- Making presentations, back-room competition tracking, campaigning for naukri.com services.

- Client Interaction, client servicing, maintaining an engaging relationship with the client were also an integral part of my profile.

As a part of my Masters degree, I underwent this internship in Mumbai. I was the management intern in the company.

I learned various aspects of online media, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), writing articles and submitting on various portals, and creating backlinks.

Research and Development of various google products.

I conducted research for the company for all their website designing clients to know their satisfaction via a structured questionnaire. The analysis and findings of this research greatly helped the management in improving their services, as before my research there was no formal mechanism to get client feedback.

I had conducted market research for a comparative study of various radio stations within the area of Rajkot city in the era of commercial radio stations pickup up space. This research helped the management to understand their standing vis-a-vis other radio stations, their branding and brand perception, listeners' preferences which enabled the management to fine-tune their program content.

Also, I got to record fillers that aired during commercial breaks and in between songs, participate in jingle creation, and recording advertisements to be aired.

I was 1 of 7 people to be selected for this research from 300 odd final year students from my college.
