What I respect the most?
He didn’t just build a brand like Lecture Head.
He documented the thinking behind it.

In a world where everyone is creating courses…
Very few are positioning them.

The subtitle hit me hard:
“How to position your course as the only option students see by closing 5 critical gaps.”

That’s the game.

Not more content.
Not more ads.
Not more noise.

But clarity.

Perception.

One room. Eight lessons. Zero gatekeeping.

Yesterday at DNA Build 2026, we had Arun Prakash M , Founder & CEO of HCL GUVI, in the room with us.

And some of the things he said?
Shifted perspective.

I’m not gatekeeping any of it.
Take it. Implement it. Come back and thank me later.

Here’s what hit hard,
-Satisfy the system first.
Then invite the right people into the system to make it better.
Chaos doesn’t scale. Structure does.

-Vision is not a founder-only file.
If your 50th employee can’t articulate it clearly, you don’t have alignment.

-Big vision demands big risk.
And yes better rewards come with it.

-Name what you are trying to change.
When you define the shift clearly and time your PR + branding right, momentum becomes unfair.

-Hire competitive talent.
If cash is tight, use advisory equity.
But don’t dilute standards.

-Bring in rainmakers.
People who move revenue. Not just maintain operations.

-Don’t talk. Show evidence.
Your work should be louder than your announcements.

-Take senior advice with a pinch of salt especially in customer acquisition.
Markets evolve. Channels change. Context matters.

Overall?
Deep brainstorming.
Sharp ideation.
And late-night jamming with builders who are obsessed with impact.

Rooms like this remind me why tribe > solo hustle.

He flew planes before he could legally drive a car.

Meet Leonard Selvaraja, pilot, founder, and serial entrepreneur.

At 16, he had a pilot's license.
At 18, he co-founded a startup with 3 high school friends.
By his 20s, he was building aviation tech, flight planning systems, weight-balance software  from scratch.

No VC backing. Just discipline borrowed from the cockpit.

I sat down with him for the Sculptors Podcast and walked away thinking differently about how I run my business.

Here's what aviation taught him about building companies:

→ SOPs aren't bureaucracy. They're freedom.
Most startups collapse not from bad ideas, but bad systems.

→ Ego is a cockpit risk. It's a startup killer too.
Aviation treats overconfidence as the #1 danger. So should founders.

→ The identity trap is real.
The most dangerous moment isn't when your company fails.
It's when your company becomes who you are.

→ Builders don't wait for motivation.
They build systems that make action inevitable.

Yesterday was a wrap of DNA Build 2026.

And honestly?
It didn’t feel like an event.
It felt like a movement in making.

20 builders.
3 intense days.
Brainstorming.
Debates.
Deep discussions.
Shooting content.
Building ideas.
Challenging perspectives.

No spectators.
Only contributors.

What made it powerful wasn’t just the sessions.
It was the tribe.

When creators, founders, and operators sit in one room with zero ego and full intent magic happens.
You borrow belief from each other.
You sharpen your thinking.
You see your blind spots through someone else’s lens.

This is refreshing.
This is necessary.
This is how real impact compounds.

The place was not meant here to attend.

Three creators. Three platforms. One thing every single one of us agreed on.

We had a panel at Ocean Academy 's techfest in Pondicherry, Student to Creator: Building Authority on Social Media.

Dakshin S P Lakshman  held it together brilliantly as moderator. 
Tamil Arasan  broke down Instagram. 
Hari broke down YouTube. 
I spoke for LinkedIn.
And somewhere in the middle of that conversation, something clicked.

Every platform has a different game. But the one thing that doesn't change across all three?
The people who win are the ones who picked a platform, went deep, and refused to leave before it worked.

Not the ones who were on everything. 
Not the ones who waited for the algorithm to change. 
The ones who stayed.

I started LinkedIn with 12 followers. Writing every day to nobody. No engagement. No validation. Just the work.
Today I spoke about that journey to 200+ students and watched some of them recognise themselves in where I started.

That's the only reason any of this is worth sharing.
Not the follower count. 
Not the stage.

The moment someone in the crowd thinks, if he could figure it out, maybe I can too.
That's what today was about.

The best networking happens when you stop "networking.

Yesterday was a masterclass in why spontaneity beats a calendar invite every single time.

What started as a quiet evening turned into a private screening of Karwaan with 10 of my DNA Community  friends. 

Why this "sudden" plan was so effective:

When you strip away the formal agenda, you actually get to know the people behind the titles.

In a world of "let me get back to you," being part of a circle that jumps at opportunities is a competitive advantage.

Karwaan is all about the beauty of the journey. Watching it with a community that supports your personal journey made the message hit 10x harder.

Don’t wait for the "perfect" time to connect with your tribe. Sometimes the most beautiful moments (and the best ideas) happen when you go off-script.

We role-played each other’s 2026 goals yesterday.

At DNA Build 2026 Day 3, we did something powerful.

You didn’t speak about your own vision.
Someone else did as you.

They volunteered to become you.
To think like you.
To articulate your 2026 goals as if it was theirs.

And something shifted.

When you hear your vision through someone else’s lens,
you notice the gaps.
You feel the conviction.
You see the blind spots.

Entrepreneurs live too much inside their own heads.

But growth happens when:
-Someone mirrors your ambition
-Someone questions your clarity
-Someone strengthens your belief

That’s the power of tribe.

Your vision becomes sharper
when it’s spoken by someone who chooses to carry it.

Build rooms where people don’t just listen to your goals they step into them.

AI may automate skills. But can it build tribes?

Day before yesterday, I sat down with Deepak Kumar for a conversation in Sculptors Podcast for Episode 7 that kept stretching my thinking.

We explored something bigger than AI tools, startups, or content.
We spoke about humans.

In a world where AI can generate:
-content
-code
-design
-even strategy

What becomes the real human advantage?

This conversation went deep into questions most founders are quietly thinking about:
→ If AI makes execution cheap, is taste the real moat now?
→ Are we building communities… or just audiences?
→ When content becomes infinite, what makes people gather?
→ Does controversy build stronger tribes than values?

DNA Community  Build isn’t just another meetup.

It’s a closed-door room filled with creators, builders, and entrepreneurs who genuinely care about building impact not just income.

When you’re surrounded by people:
-who think long-term
-who challenge your excuses
-who celebrate your wins
-who call out your blind spots
-who build silently but execute loudly

Your goals stop feeling heavy.
They start feeling inevitable.

Being part of the DNA community has shown me something deeply personal:

Ambition grows in proximity.

You can have clarity.
You can have skill.
You can even have resources.

But without the right tribe your growth will always feel slower than it should.

DNA Build 2026 is just the beginning.
The energy in that room yesterday? Different.

We’re not just building businesses.
We’re building people who build businesses.

And this is only Day 01.

Day 02, I’m coming in sharper, clearer, and more intentional.

Going to Stand in front of 200+ students today.

Not as someone who read the right books.

As someone who survived building something from nothing and figured out personal branding the hard way.

Here's what my "journey" actually looked like:
A graphic designer who thought good work would speak for itself. It didn't.

A founder running a print-on-demand business on ₹1,200 a month during COVID. Posting content to 12 followers.
Writing every single day, not because it was working, but because stopping felt worse.

That's when I understood what personal branding actually is.
It's not a strategy. 
It's not a content calendar. 
It's not your logo or your color palette.

It's what people say about you when you're not in the room and the only way to control that narrative is to show up and tell it yourself, consistently, before someone else does.

21K+ followers later. 1,099+ posts. Social Sculpt - Personal Branding and Growth Marketing Agency, Postautopsy, Nebula Startup School and The Sculptors Podcast. None of it was an accident. All of it started with deciding to be known for something specific and not stopping until the market agreed.

She paused her career. But never paused learning.

Yesterday I met Ramya Krishnaraj from the HR space.
What started as a casual conversation turned into a very insightful one.

She spoke about something many people don’t openly talk about career breaks.
At one point she had to step away from work.

But what stood out was this:
She never stepped away from learning.

And that’s where the conversation got deeper.

We spoke about the invisible challenges many women face at work:
-Career pauses
-Bias in hiring after a break
-The pressure to constantly prove themselves again
-Balancing growth with personal responsibilities

In the AI era, skills are compounding faster than ever.
The real advantage isn’t continuous employment.
It’s continuous curiosity.

Meeting people like this reminds me why conversations matter.
Because perspectives expand only when worlds collide.

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to see
the other side of the story.

And honestly, we need more of those.

Stop building products. Start building a narrative. 

In 2026, execution is cheap. AI can code your MVP, design your landing page, and automate your outreach in minutes.

But it can't tell your story.

As an entrepreneur, your personal brand isn't "ego" its leverage. Here is why storytelling is the only distribution moat left:

The 2026 Founder Reality
 -Trust is the New CAC: Ads are expensive. AI noise is everywhere. A founder’s story is the only shortcut to instant trust.

 -Narrative > Features: People don’t buy "tools." They buy the vision of the person who built them.

 -AI is the Megaphone, Not the Muse: I use AI to turn one insight into 50 posts, but the soul stays 100% human. AI handles the volume; I handle the vulnerability.

The Narrative Playbook
 -Stop "Announcing": Nobody cares about your feature update. They care about the problem that kept you up at 3 AM.

 -Weaponize the Pivot: Share the failures. In a world of "perfect" AI content, raw human struggle is the highest-value currency.

 -Build a Category of One: Your skills can be outsourced. Your perspective cannot.

> The Hard Truth: Great products don't just run on code. They run on the founder's "Why." If you can’t tell the story, you’re just a vendor. If you can, you’re a leader.

I’m not just building a business; I’m building the narrative infrastructure that makes every future launch easier.

Too many people are busy proving, not improving.

We chase validation.
We want to show the world we’re right, smart, capable, or successful.
But here’s the problem,.

Proving is temporary. Improving is permanent.

-Proving keeps you in competition with others.
-Improving puts you in competition with yourself.

In personal branding, the best strategy isn’t to constantly prove you’re the best.

It’s to keep improving until your work speaks so loudly that proving becomes unnecessary.

When you focus on improving, your brand becomes the proof.

Ever met someone whose journey mirrors yours?

Not the same person.

But somehow… the timelines, struggles, and decisions feel strangely parallel.

Yesterday I met someone like that Ar. Swetha Deepthi  

One of those rare conversations where you feel like the dots were always meant to connect.

From working while studying, figuring things out on her own…
to now building her own path across social media and architecture.

What stood out wasn’t just the journey.
It was the clarity, resilience, and soul behind it.

Sometimes life introduces you to people who quietly remind you:

You’re not the only one walking this unconventional path.

Different stories.
But similar courage to choose differently.

I had a 101-degree fever yesterday. 

Most people would have cancelled everything.

I did two podcasts back-to-back.
Is that "Toxic Consistency"?
Or is it "Unshakeable Resilience"?

The truth is, it’s both.
Here is the reality of the "Show Up" culture:

-Your word is your currency. I gave my word to these hosts, and I wasn't going to let them down.

-The Mind vs. The Body. Sometimes, you have to prove to yourself that your discipline is louder than your discomfort.

The Cost of Entry. Great things aren't built on "feeling good." They are built on the days you want to quit but don't.

But there is a trap. 
We live in a world that romanticizes the grind until we break. Pushing through a fever feels like a badge of honor in the moment, but your body always collects its debt.

My takeaway?
Resilience is what gets you to the top.
But self-awareness is what keeps you there.

I’m glad I showed up. I’m proud I kept my word.

But today, the laptop is shut. 

You can’t pour from an empty cup—and you definitely can’t lead with a burnt-out brain.

Not because they’re better.

Most service agency founders think:
“If my work is good, clients will come.”

That worked in 2012.
Not in 2026.

Today, people don’t just buy services.
They buy certainty.

Because let’s be honest:
There are 1000 agencies that can run ads.
1000 agencies that can design.
1000 agencies that can do SEO.
1000 agencies that can “scale your brand.”

But there is only one founder who:
-thinks the way you think

That’s what personal branding does.

It reduces:
- trust-building time
- sales cycles
- price negotiations

And increases:
- inbound leads
- perceived authority
- deal size

Chennai creators are sleeping on something Bangalore figured out years ago.

 Had this conversation today and it hit different.

Met Mithun Chakravarthy yesterday and what started as a casual catch-up turned into one of the most honest conversations I've had about the creator economy in India.

We went deep on things most people don't say out loud:
→ Why Bangalore creators are miles ahead in brand deals and what Chennai is still missing 
→ How influencer marketing actually works from the inside.
→ what brands want vs what creators think they want 
→ Why reach is now the cheapest thing you can offer a brand
