Alltopics is a news aggregating service that collects news on all topics and makes it easier to discover news based on their social rankings while displaying them into well organized manageable categories.
Programmed and scaled the basic content aggregation framework along with importing their social ranks using Drupal. I was also responsible for designing Pinterest like ajaxified UI for teasers. Also worked for an algorithm that could distribute imported teasers uniformly over categories.

Closest.in (Formerly known as Iddhis) is a free social network to connect with your close friends. It solves the problem of having a social platform with people very close to you and dedicate a profile to them. I co-founded this startup right after my graduation.
I wrote this social network from the scratch. Main features includes – Combined registrations for two friends with one email id, separate channels for each friends, real time photo sharing, messaging, Email API. I was also responsible for system administration and monitoring user analytics.
