I've been running cold email campaigns for 10+ years now. Sent a lot. Tested a lot. And I keep coming back to the same things.

- Short emails work better. Every time. Nobody wants to read your 4 paragraph pitch.

- Timing matters more than people think.

- If your email sounds like AI wrote it, it's getting ignored. Just write like you talk.

- And be clear. Say what you want. Don't dance around it.

That's honestly what I'd tell anyone starting out with cold outreach. There's no secret sauce. It's just common sense that most people overcomplicate.

This whole AI progress is cool.

I use it all the time. It’s basically my whole day - talking to LLMs, building things, living inside the stack.

But I’m realizing that what I really need, and what I really want, is something different.

I want the freedom.
To just go outside.
To talk to people.
To see the world without a screen in front of me.

Maybe it’s just an overdose of tech.

But that’s honestly the feeling I have right now.

The more technology moves forward, the more I simply want to go back to basics.
