The Central PA MLK Day of Service was started by a concerned group of individuals in and around Harrisburg, PA who were dedicated to making a difference in Central PA by celebrating the National MLK Day of Service. Over the years, coordinating handfuls of volunteers & community partners turned into organizing hundreds of engaged citizens who were looking for increased partnership opportunities. The need to move beyond observing just a day of service to a focus on strategic partnerships and collaborations prompted organizers to pivot to MLK 365 in 2023.  This important change reflects a commitment to service through partnerships. We invite the community to join us in amplifying good work of community partners across the calendar year and connecting those requesting service with providers who are best positioned to respond.
