I work as Head of Development at Kuntokompassi, responsible for expanding our physiotherapy and coaching services beyond the Helsinki metropolitan area. My core focus is enabling growth: building new partnerships, recruiting and supporting professionals, developing local teams, and designing customer-centered service structures. My role combines business development, team training, and operational support together with Kuntokompassi’s team of top-level experts.

Alongside my work in performance coaching, I co-founded a platform called Suorituskykyvalmentaja with colleagues. We created and delivered educational content and mentoring focused on physical training, both in-person and online. Especially in 2019–2020, we travelled extensively across Finland to deliver training sessions. While the project has had limited activity in recent years, it remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my entrepreneurial journey.

I have worked as a physiotherapist in private clinics, sports clubs, national sports federations, my own training facility, and directly in clients’ everyday environments. Around 2023, my clinical focus began to shift from sports performance to the health challenges of working-age adults. Evidence-based practice plays a central role in my approach to physiotherapy.

I founded and operated a ~900 m² performance training facility where high-quality coaching and training conditions were integrated into one concept. Our coaching services grew into a profitable business with a strong, loyal client base, supported by a team of 6–8 professionals.

However, the scale of the facility presented challenges for the gym operations, particularly in terms of long-term profitability.

This phase of entrepreneurship taught me valuable lessons in financial management, pricing strategy, and the importance of service focus; skills I now apply when supporting other professionals and businesses in the health and fitness sector.

Alongside my main work, I have taken on freelance projects in website development and content creation. I’m a professional coach, physiotherapist, and developer within the health and fitness sector.

With over a decade of hands-on client experience, I now focus on building impactful wellness services for both individuals and organizations. I work as Development Director at Kuntokompassi and as a strategic partner through my company Voima & Vire, where we support fitness and health entrepreneurs across a wide range of business development areas.

What ties my work together is a deep motivation to help individuals and businesses grow and succeed while steadily advancing toward my own goals.
