The ICE Framework (Your New Best Friend)
When your agent feels "off," work through these three checkpoints:

I - Inputs
Is the agent even receiving the data it needs?
• Click on a task. Look at the what was sent/received.
• No calendar invite showing? No email data?

That's your problem. The agent can't attend a meeting it doesn't know about.

C - Conditions
Are your triggers and filters working as intended?
• Real example from this week:
• A meeting agent wasn't showing up to Zoom calls.

Why?

It was filtering for "meeting link" but Zoom URLs are structured differently from Google Meet.

The agent was working perfectly—just too narrow by design.

E - Execution
• Is the agent doing what you specified with the data?
• When inputs look good and conditions seem right, but something's still failing—dig into the actual workflow actions.

Troubleshooting isn't sexy.

But here's what happens when you develop diagnostic intuition:
→ You stop abandoning workflows at 90% complete
→ You spend 15 minutes fixing instead of 3 hours rebuilding
→ You trust your agents because you know how to tune them
