As a Procurement Agent at The Boeing Company I managed a variety of suppliers that support our telecom infrastructure needs. I manage supplies that provide both wire-line and wireless services that are critical to Boeing's production and support needs.  In the time that I have supported our Global Network Engineering team I have taken the lead role in planning, negotiating, and executing contracts with some of the nations largest carriers.  

I have had experience in competing contracts where the end result was displacement of a incumbent carrier leading to better terms, better technical solution, and million of dollars in cost savings.  I have also had experience negotiating with incumbent suppliers with no competitive alternative leaving a renewal of the existing contract the only option.  Proper planning and alignment of Boeing cross functional teams have led to successful outcomes resulting in better terms, reduced risk, and millions of dollars in cost savings.  Total cost savings negotiated in 2014 YTD is $5M.

In addition to planning, negotiating, and executing contracts I have the responsibility to maintain the ongoing relationships with our telecom suppliers.  These include weekly to monthly project status meetings, supplier performance and scorecard review, and strategic long term planning.
