I oversee the system management and systems maintenance of Wintel Classic Servers.

My main role is to provide technical assistance to the client through close collaboration with onsite vendors in expediting hardware maintenance towards ensuring continuous uptime for global users.

Besides that, I coordinate backup restoration while executed systems and patches updates in line with clients’ requests.

Other than managing systems, I also contribute towards the rollout of the storage migration projects. The experiences that I have gained was immense as I have successfully mastered the end to end processes as well as technology planning of storage migration which was not really our area of expertise.

As a result of the excellent contribution towards the project, I was commended by the directors and clients for a job well done.

The highlights of my tenure include:
- Awarded the Service Recognition Award for conceiving an idea to tweak the configuration of a system in resolving long-standing issues to successfully avoid breach a breach of SLA.
- Successfully identified and resolved a crucial issue involving iLO consoles to successfully complete the critical storage migration from the legacy system to a virtual system on time.

Harnessing my strengths in system management and system maintenance, I oversaw various systems and applications encompassing Active Directory, User/Group Access, Security Policies, Roles, Permissions as well as disk space control.

Apart from that, I scheduled and implemented windows patching, antivirus updates as well as troubleshooting towards delivering 24/7 system availability.

In the areas of technology planning, I spearheaded hardware replacements while provided technical consultancy and comprehensive technical support.

Lastly, I conducted the Legato Networker backup and restoration as well as maintenance.

I started my career in IT industry as a Technical Executive where I expedited system maintenance and troubleshooting to stabilize all networks. 

Here, I collaborated with the network engineers in implementing system management of all Cisco routers, switches and servers which covered security designs and configurations as well as designing network architecture and connectivity troubleshooting.

Part of the role involved conducting server installations for new clients while carrying out periodical support visits to clients’ premises. This included assisting in network infrastructure, installation, implementation and troubleshooting in a Windows Server 2003 environment as well as XP and Vista at the clients’ end.

Besides that, I also conducted disaster recovery testing and maintaining system documentation logs while supported system diagnostics. Lastly, providing expertise in network infrastructure & TCP/IP and desktop support.

It was here that I have gained tremendous exposure in the areas of technical consultancy and technology planning.
