Small, but very helpful LinkedIn Ads update: Lead Forms now pre-fill based on the campaign-targeted position.
 
On LinkedIn, many people have 2nd and 3rd roles on their profile (heck I've seen people with 10+).
 
Those additional roles can be: side hustles, advisor roles, investors, etc etc.
 
For example: I've published courses on LinkedIn Learning, and I list that on my profile.
 
So given all these extra roles that people can have, previously looking at the Job Title + Company listed on the lead form submission data may "look" like your leads were off-target, just because it was pulling in the wrong role versus what you were targeting.
 
Your lead data should look more on-point going forward 🙏

I spy a new feature rollout 🕵️‍♂️ → The new Content Hub
 
This will be very handy for Thought Leader Ad content management.
 
This is especially useful for enterprise accounts that have a lot of internal thought leaders, and a lot of organic mentions out there.
 
Great to see more features coming for the very effective thought leader ad format.
 
A few wishlist items:
* Ability to search/filter for employees easier
* Create lists of employees (who we most commonly boost)
* Management of auto-approval for employees
* Content performance indications (like engagement rate or reactions) to guide us when selecting which post to boost.
* Better TL ad reporting - it's very limited when exporting + getting API data

Last week, I saw someone say Thought Leader Ads are flashy but don't drive sales. Whaaat?! Check this out 👇
 
Vertical: Executive Education
Target Audience: Business Owners
ACV: $24,000
 
We're using Thought Leader ads to tell the story... and prospects are eating it up.
 
The average dwell time is 6.76 seconds. (2.3x longer than a typical company page ad).
 
The average CTR on cold TLAs is 5%. (12x higher)
So our CPC is $0.90. (11x lower)
 
Those are better stats than even Meta can offer, and the LinkedIn targeting is on-point because we know we're reaching business owners.
 
That said, Meta is great addition for retargeting because yes most people spend some leisure time on FB or IG throughout the day.

At the end of the day:
 
Cost of Acquisition: $3,816 / customer

I think it's important to callout, this funnel would NOT work with traditional company page ads. At 10x higher costs of $9-15 CPC, the CAC would be higher than the ACV.
 
Thought Leader Ads are enabling new funnels on LinkedIn that weren't previously possible.
 
That's a win for marketers (and for LinkedIn too)

Heads up for anyone running LinkedIn Ads:
Your Dwell Time metric is getting a boost 📈
 
LinkedIn is revising how Average Dwell Time is calculated to better reflect total viewing time per impression.
 
✅ Backdated to April 1, 2025
✅ Completed by October 16
✅ Expect to see a 20–30% increase on average
 
Why it matters:
Dwell Time is a leading signal of content quality and audience engagement.
This change gives us a more accurate read — especially for video and long-form content.
 
🧠 Pro tip: Compare Dwell Time against your CTR to understand performance. Some of the highest CTR ads have the lowest Dwell Time, and some of the highest Dwell Time ads have the lowest CTR. So don't kill the wrong ad.
 
The average used to be about ~3 seconds for a company page ad. Will be interesting to see what the new averages look like.

There's a small mistake most people make in their posts – that great copywriters can spot a mile away. Have you seen it?
 
When your copy says “companies” or “marketers,” it feels distant.
When it says “you,” it feels personal.
 
People respond at a much higher rate when spoken to. They also comment at a much higher rate (which gets your posts that much more of a boost)
 
💬 Example:
❌ “Companies are struggling with pipeline now.”
✅ “If you're struggling with pipeline, then...”

Do you ever pay attention to the little details in your day-to-day life?

Because honestly, I usually don’t.

My pace is fast. Early mornings, workouts, meetings, deadlines, endless to-dos. You know the drill.

But when I’m on vacation, everything slows down.

I pause. I take it all in.

On my last trip to Spain with my fiancée, we drove to San Sebastián.
After a long drive, a quick check-in, and a spontaneous dinner plan, we stumbled upon this small Asian restaurant, fun, delicious, and totally unexpected.

When I sat down, I noticed a little note placed on the napkin.

Normally, I’d ignore it. But being in “vacation mode,” I decided to translate it  and here’s what it said:

"Me encanta cuando cuentas una historia y todos nos trasladamos allí." 
“𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”

The moment I read it, I smiled.

I looked at my fiancée and said, “Can you believe this note? It’s literally me!”

They seat people randomly, but somehow, that note found its way to me.

Because that’s exactly how I communicate. When I tell stories, I try to take people with me, to let them see what I see, feel what I feel.

That little note came home with me.

A simple reminder to keep noticing the small things.

Not just on vacation, but every day.

And to stay aware of who I am, so I can keep turning that awareness into strength.

LinkedIn just published its Top Startups 2025: Israel list - 10 fast-growing companies shaping the local tech ecosystem.

But here’s what most people don’t notice: the ranking isn’t based on follower counts or flashy posts — it’s built on four concrete signals 👇

 1️⃣ Employee growth – how fast the team is expanding
 2️⃣ Jobseeker interest – how often people view or interact with open roles
 3️⃣ Member engagement – how much LinkedIn members engage with the company and its people
 4️⃣ Talent attraction – how well the startup hires from LinkedIn’s “Top Companies”

In other words, LinkedIn measures momentum, how appealing a startup is to talent and the market.

Curious to see whether these companies’ digital behavior matched their momentum, I manually explored all ten feeds and measured:

1. How frequently they post
2. The average engagement per post (likes, comments, shares)
3. Whether founders and execs actively participate or stay silent

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝?
The consistent players win.

Brands like Riverside, Faye, and Eleos Health post 3–4 times a week, balancing product news, team culture, and thought leadership. Engagement follows.

Founder visibility is a multiplier – When founders (#Shoutout to Nadav Keyson & Elad Schaffer) show up with authentic posts, comments, or shares, engagement rises dramatically.

Quiet feeds lose traction – Great companies like Sett or Nilus get strong reactions when they post, but their sporadic cadence keeps them from owning the conversation.

𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲:
LinkedIn’s Top Startups list measures who’s growing fast, but when you look at how they communicate that growth, it’s clear - posting consistently and letting real people lead the narrative is what turns momentum into a movement.
