How a red shirt helps me overcome self-doubt.
(a tip for all the good girls out there)

Research repeatedly shows that women carry far more of this than men:

Nasty thoughts sneaking up on us to tell us we’re 
> not good enough
> not smart enough
> not worthy of taking up space

Call them self-doubts or limiting beliefs — 
they’re ugly and paralyzing either way.

When those thoughts visit me, I know my confidence might shiver... which will change how I show up.

The gym floor is an arena where I feel fully confident.

I’ve been an instructor for 25 years. I know I’m good at it — and when I’m in that role, there's a certain energy and a certain vibe. A strong one.

So I visualize putting on that red shirt... 
...and with it, I shift myself into that energy.

This week it started. 

Someone mentioned Christmas gifts.
Another said her Christmas stress is ramping up. 

Soon all activities around school, sports, shows and concerts start lining up.... 

November and December are hectic. 

Sooo much that needs to be done and delivered.... 
You can feel it, right? 

But saying you don’t have time to take care of yourself,
is like saying you’re too busy driving to stop for gas.

To all busy, loyal, hardworking good girls who hold everything (and everyone) together:

If you want to feel less stressed, have more energy and actually enjoy the parts of life that matter most to you... 
...but feel you can't afford taking a break... 

...where will you end up? (hint: burnt out)

> Working more hours won’t make you less busy.
> Going nonstop won’t make you more productive.
> Saying YES to do more tasks won't create more hours in a day.

Just like stopping for gas is important,
so is stopping to recharge yourself. 

Even when life is busy.
E s p e c i a l l y when life is busy.

It takes a village to raise a child, they say. 
Mine raised a very good girl. 

I learnt how to fit in long before I learnt how to be me. 

I'm done with those edits. 
The coming chapters look different.

Making a Good Girl

I thought I was being helpful.
It turned out I was standing in the way.

For a long time, I believed good leadership meant having the answers and always being available. 

That fixing things was the same as supporting. That stepping in with a solution was the best help. That getting back on track quickly was development. 

Until one day. 

A team member was stuck and came to ask about something. I immediately saw how we could solve it. It was simple – but I didn’t have the time to explain. 

So instead I asked: "What are your thoughts?"

Silence. I went back to what I was doing.

A little later, my colleague returned – with a plan. 
And it was better than mine 🌟 

I think that’s when it hit me.

Every time I stepped in to “help,” I was taking something away: 
> the belief in their own ability 
> the satisfaction of figuring it out yourself 
> the growth that comes from handling challenges

I was taking away opportunities to grow 😬

So I started doing things in a different way. Challenging and uncomfortable at first, no doubt: 

> I held back my answers
> Asked better (and more) questions
> Got more comfortable with being uncomfortable
> And resisted the urge to step in as some kind of problem-solving superhero (difficult for good girls like me) 

I learnt that I didn't have to carry everything. And I certainly didn't have to carry them. 

My version of being a helpful leader was my bad good girl stepping in. 

The real growth – for both me and the team – came when I started unlearning that.

Curious: what's a leadership lesson you've learnt from being "in it"?

“Next year will be different.”

I’ll slow down. I’ll start saying no. I’ll prioritise myself more.

Don’t know how many Decembers I’ve said that to myself.
And then… life happened:

High expectations, fully-packed calendar, delivering results, kids to activities, oh gosh any dinner ideas anyone…?

And oupppss I was back in the familiar good-girl-loop of being everything for everyone — except myself.

For me, it took a burnout to realise and change how I lead myself. 
I don’t want it to get that far for you. 
I want you to fast-track your learning and make better choices, sooner than I did.

”Jag har varit chef i drygt två år. Det är först nu som jag känner mig som en ledare.”

Helene hade sitt team utspritt över hela Sverige och dåligt samvete för att hon inte räckte till.

”Jag vill vara en närvarande ledare. Men hur är jag det på distans?”

Det var utmaningen hon tog med sig till Perspeqtiv. Engagerad, nyfiken och trött på att försöka vara överallt samtidigt.

Ganska snart insåg Helene hur hon kan vara närvarande även på distans.

Efter några månader hade hon hittat sitt angreppssätt, sin struktur för hur hon leder sitt team; både gruppen som helhet och var och en individuellt.

Helene är en sådan som verkligen gör det hon säger att hon ska göra. Hon har reflekterat, testat, justerat och till slut hittat sitt sätt. Med ett helt annat lugn nu än för nio månader sedan.

Och något som alla i gruppen märkt:

Hennes generositet. Hon delar med sig, stöttar, speglar, bjuder på sina lärdomar och hjälper andra att växa. Är inte det ledarskap i sig? 😉

Gratitude helps to boost your mood and will make you feel happier! 

🌱 Step outside
Take a 20-minute walk—or even stand outside for 5 minutes. 
Fresh air clears your mind and gives you new energy. 

Think you don’t have time? 
You DO. 

Taking short breaks will make both you and your work better. 

You'll feel better → your work will be better. 

AND: you'll have time and energy left for the things (and people ❤️) that matter most to you.

I’m switching my work ethic to worth ethic.

It took me a ridiculous amount of life experience to get here.


I mean… I literally burned out running a tech startup.
Full system shutdown.
My body put in its resignation before I did.


You’d think that would’ve taught me everything I needed to know about pace, permission, nervous systems, the whole thing.

Adorable assumption 🙋🏼‍♀️


Because when I started my solo business, I did what any responsible, overachieving eldest daughter would do:

I recreated the hustle.
Just with nicer branding.


Turns out you can swap industries, change countries, build a new identity, and still accidentally bring your work ethic along like a carry-on bag you forgot to unpack.


And my nervous system looked at me like:
“Really? We’re doing this again?”


I had to have a hard conversation with myself to realize:

Women don’t thrive because we push harder.
We thrive because we stop betraying ourselves.

Somewhere between rebuilding my life, learning the language of my body, and realizing LinkedIn could grow my business without taking my soul… I started experimenting with something new:

A worth ethic.


Worth ethic asks questions I never asked when I was deep in the grind:

“Is this pace sustainable?”
“Could I do less and actually get more?”
“Is this task necessary or just familiar?”
“Would future-me applaud this… or stage an intervention?”


Worth ethic is the version of me who builds systems my nervous system actually approves of.

Who chooses slow power over frantic output.
Who lets clarity do the heavy lifting so I don’t have to.


And the plot twist?
The moment I honored my worth, my work finally started working.


Clients came easier.
Visibility felt natural.

LinkedIn became a calm 28-minute growth engine and my business started compounding instead of consuming.


So yes, I’m retiring the old “work ethic.”
Bless her heart.
She tried.

But this next era?
It’s built on self-respect, not self-abandonment.


Worth ethic > work ethic.
And honestly… it’s the softest revolution we’ve been waiting for.

I have been sitting with a lot of grief this year.
For the one who could set a huge goal… and then bulldoze her way straight into it.


For most of my life, I had a very specific superpower:

If I set a goal (a grade, a university I wanted to get into, funding a tech startup) I could just… make it happen.


Set mind → grind → achieve → applause.
The formula was reliable.
Predictable.
Socially celebrated.
(And honestly? A tiny bit addictive.)


But when I burned out in 2020, that part of me disappeared.

Not softened.
Not temporarily misplaced.
Gone.

And the grief of that has been… immense.


Because it wasn’t just losing my ambition, it was losing the identity I had been rewarded for my entire life.

Since then, my journey has been one big pendulum swing.

From hyper-masculine drive
→ to “just flow with the universe” softness
→ to panicking and sprinting back into structure
→ to realizing neither extreme feels like home.


I’ve spent years trying to understand why the old tools stopped working.

Why the engine that powered me for decades refused to turn back on.

Why my body said “no” even when my mind said “we know how to do this.”


And slowly, gently, painfully at times, I’ve understood:

That old self didn’t “fail.”
She simply wasn’t meant to come with me.


She was built for external approval.
For the metrics.
For the good-girl gold stars.
For a world that measures worth by output.


This new era of my life?
It’s an internal one.
A quieter one.
A wiser one.


One where my feminine isn’t a weakness.

Where softness doesn’t equal weakness.

Where ambition doesn’t require self-abandonment.

Where success is defined by alignment, not applause.


I’m learning to build from the middle, that sacred place where structure doesn’t suffocate and flow doesn’t derail.

Where my nervous system and my ambition finally sit at the same table.


I’m not the woman I used to be.
And honestly… thank god.

She got me here.
But she couldn’t take me where I’m going.

So if you’re in your own in-between, grieving an old identity, confused by the pendulum swings, unsure who you’re becoming…

You’re not broken.
You’re not failing.
You’re evolving.

And evolution is rarely graceful.
But it is always wise.

Tell me, have you ever felt yourself outgrowing a version of you everyone else still admired?

Just breathe, my love.
Half the things in your Black Friday cart are emotional support items.


It’s okay.
We’ve all been there.

One minute you’re peacefully drinking tea… the next you’re convinced you need five online courses, three ring lights, a new planner, and an air fryer that can apparently “change your life.”

Will it? Probably not.
Will the dopamine hit be cute? For approximately 7 min.


Here’s your gentle reminder:

Your nervous system does not care about 40% off.

Your business does not need 12 new tools.

Your identity does not hinge on whether you buy the beige aesthetic water bottle.


You’re allowed to slow down.

You’re allowed to delete things from your cart.

You’re allowed to opt out of the collective frenzy and keep your peace (and your money).


Honestly?
That might be the sexiest deal of all.


Tell me… what’s currently sitting in your cart that you know will never see the light of day?

Yesterday I spent 5 hours studying 372 posts.
Yes… three hundred and seventy-two.


My eyes are still… lightly offended.
But I had a good reason.

I’m building a new module for my clients, and I wanted to see what’s actually happening on this platform. Outside my echo chamber and across all industries.


Because part of my job (and honestly, part of my obsession) is understanding the deepest patterns of visibility. And I had a gut feeling, but now I know.


So here’s the one conclusion I can now confidently (and slightly defeatedly) share:

There is no single format that wins anymore.

Not carousels.
Not long emotional stories.
Not frameworks.
Not one-liners.


Everything works.
And also… nothing works.


Except one thing.

Across every niche, every creator, every level of “success,” I kept seeing the same pattern:

The people who grow are the ones who identify what works for them, and then they unapologetically repeat it.


They don’t reinvent the wheel every week.
They don’t just post the post that performs once.
They don’t get bored of their own clarity.


They simply run it back:

Same energy.
Same structure.
Slightly new angle.
Again. And again. And again.


Some creators repost the same concept every month, and every month, it performs.

Meanwhile, the rest of us start from scratch because we’re terrified of being “boring.”


So here’s the question I’m asking my clients, and myself, as I build this new module:

Are you actually studying your own content?

Your analytics?
Your comments?
Your impressions?
The posts people save, DM you about, or talk to you about weeks later?

Are you doubling down on what’s resonating… or abandoning it the second it works?


Because if there’s one thing 372 posts taught me:

Your audience is already telling you what they want.
The question is, are you listening?

98% of your life is made up of Tuesdays.


Now you’re probably thinking, “What on earth does that mean, Nina?”
So let’s talk about it.


Most high-achieving women build their entire dreams around peak moments:

— The million-dollar launch
— The rooftop champagne
— The tropical workcation


Those moments make up maybe… 2% of your life.

The other 98% its Tuesdays.


The school drop-off.

The “what on earth am I making for dinner?” moment.

The client call that runs over.

The afternoon slump, no coffee can fix.


Life is not built in the peaks. Life is built in the accumulation of ordinary days stacked on top of each other.


Yet for years, my life was optimized for the peaks:

Big goals.
Big pushes.
Big outcomes.

(Which resulted in an even bigger burnout.)


When I rebuilt my business post–tech-founder-collapse, I didn’t optimize for the fantasy anymore. I optimized for the Tuesday:

A business that feels easy to run.


Clients who get incredible results without draining my entire soul.

Time freedom that actually exists outside a vision board.

Most people still think LinkedIn wants the beige-blazer version of them.

Anyone can ChatGPT their way into a decent tip list.

I came into this platform with a very particular background: engineering, tech startup, systems, sales, strategy… and a very clear boundary after burnout: whatever I build next has to work without sacrificing my nervous system on the altar of “growth.


So when clients come to me, we’re not talking about posts.

We’re talking about what LinkedIn is actually doing for their business.


And this year, that looked like:

→ Some clients publishing their very first post.
→ Others finding their voice and going viral.

→ Some getting their first inbound leads  
(The “oh… people are finding me” moment)
→ Others quietly having the best revenue month of their life.
(The calm kind, not the adrenaline crash kind)


Different stages.
Different outcomes.
Same throughline.


LinkedIn starts working when it’s treated like infrastructure.

When your positioning is clear, your message makes sense, and your visibility is consistent but humane, the platform does what it’s designed to do:

I can tell if your coaching business is going to succeed just by looking at your to-do list.


Let me tell you the story I see every week (and yes, past-me is 100% included in this).

A brilliant woman decides to start her own thing.
She’s excited, hopeful, slightly terrified… armed with a fresh Canva account and a Pinterest board titled “Brand Vibes.”

And immediately, the list appears 🧙🏻‍♀️

“I need a beautiful website.”
“I need a logo… maybe two.”
“I need a full curriculum for the program I haven’t sold yet.”
“My entire income depends on Helvetica vs. Inter.”
“I need to be on all platforms because… reasons?”

Be visible.
Start conversations.
Reverse-engineer demand.
Talk to humans.
Build trust.

Aka generate leads.

Not in a shouty-online-guru way 🙈🔫
Not in a “DM 100 people with your soul leaving your body” way.

I mean in a calm, intelligent, regulated-nervous-system way:

One platform.
One message.
One simple rhythm that compounds.

Everything else (the fonts, the visuals, the tech stack, the signature program, the “brand essence” rituals) comes after there’s proof someone actually wants what you’re building.

So yes, I can tell if a woman’s business is going to succeed.

I look at her to-do list.
Because that list tells me how she thinks.
And how she thinks determines whether she gets traction… or gets overwhelmed.
