Helped mentor a class of 30 students in the cohort below me as they took the first of two research courses in my graduate program- hosting review sessions, and meeting with individuals and groups to discuss research concepts and their research studies.
Led a group of 4 peers over the course of one year in creating a research study exploring the sensory preferences of undergraduate students and their impact on GPA. Our manuscript is currently under review for publication, and in April of 2022 we presented a poster based on our work at the American Occupational Therapy Association's annual conference. 
Mentored a group of 4 students as they completed a research study investigating the normative data about sensory preferences of college students and their relationship with individual mindfulness. This manuscript is currently under review for publication.

Heres my story. 

In February of 2022, I decided to learn data analytics for fun. I created a Tik Tok account, and started documenting my journey to learn this new hobby (@anniesanalytics). 

Very soon, I realized that every day I was waking up and just wanting to write SQL, build visualizations, learn Python.... Work with data! So, I decided that once I finished graduate school (in Healthcare) in July, I was going to become a data analyst. 

Along the way, I have shared here and on Tik Tok everything I can about what it's like to learn data analytics, and how you can do it for free or at least very cheaply. I've shared about the ups and downs of job searching. I've even shared about how I have built a portfolio, and set myself up as a real analyst.

The company conducts technology scouting in the German research landscape, evaluates demonstrators and market potentials and brings research institutions and medium-sized companies together for joint technology projects with the aim of developing novel technologies ready for serial production and increasing the innovative power of medium-sized companies.

I was invited, interviewed and relocated to the Germany from Russian Federation for the full-time job. I started my job as senior web developer and grew up to team leader. My team was working on internal CRM system to make new features and functionality according business requirements. Also, as a main part of the job of my team, was data mining for the CRM database and normalization. One of my important achievement was building automatically working “pipeline” that searches required information over the internet, downloads, parses, normalizes and uploads to the CRM. This pipeline also includes couple of captcha solvers using Python with TensorFlow and OpenCV libraries.

The company is a developer and supplier of software solutions for financial and insurance companies.  The solutions include web portals, B2B systems, B2С systems, accounting systems, mobile applications, development of various RESTful APIs, and integrations with third-party services.  I was responsible for the development of B2B systems, RESTful APIs, integrations with third-party services, mobile development, and plan and control tasks among the team. 

My most important achievements included:
1) The design and development of the new version of the insurance B2B system (backend & frontend)
2) Presenting the idea to the company to write mobile applications, and after having this idea accepted, wrote several applications using web technologies (Ionic Framework, and later React Native). So that, i started a new direction in the company - mobile development.

I was invited to work part-time to develop a very large high-load medical platform where doctors and patients can interact with each other.  I was responsible for designing and developing the RESTful API for the mobile application, the development of doctor’s personal cabinet, the development of the web-version of patient’s cabinet, and the development system for the call center.  Additionally, I was responsible for the development of new features and for technical support of the aforementioned parts of the entire system.

Kaskonomika

This was an online platform which connects insurance companies and customers.  In other words, it is a Casco insurance aggregator with telematic devices.  Companies can integrate into the platform by RESTful API and customers have a personal cabinet on the website, or they can use the mobile application.

Vazhno New Insurance

This was an insurance startup which grew into a full-fledged insurance company.  The main idea was to make a truly online insurance company without sales offices.  All business processes were to be strictly online.  Therefore, I was invited to this startup and I was responsible for planning, designing, and developing the web infrastructure, specifically API, B2B, B2C, and the website and internal accounting system named “1C”.  I was also responsible for interviewing candidates to join my team.  We were successful and the company became a leader in the online insurance market.  One of my main achievements was connecting many third-party services with partners in order to extend the functionality of the company’s systems.

Gelios Insurance Company

This is a large regional insurance company.  I was invited as a senior web developer to join and develop a new B2B system for the company.  This B2B system is used by company employees, management, sellers, insurance agents and customers.  This system covers all business processes of the company, from the creation of a new insurance product to the settlement of losses under a specific contract.

FREELANCE

During this period, I wanted to work on several of my own projects, to learn and try some new technologies, and to develop mobile applications.  Also, as independent web developer, I had customers, so I had many commercial projects, such as websites and online stores, and an accounting system for one logistics company.  In addition, i got first experience in the mobile development and made the first commercial native mobile application for Android using Java with Android Studio.

The company is a digital agency, focused on developing high-load B2B and B2C systems for many types of businesses.  The main achievement was a universal platform for building B2B systems with a beautiful and user-friendly interface, which was developed by my colleagues and I.

This company is a digital agency, focused on developing interactive corporate websites, e-commerce solutions, and B2B systems.  I was responsible for full-cycle development, performing the frontend and backend job of almost of every project given to me.  After two years I was promoted and became the team leader, in addition to my development job, I also started planning and controlling tasks among the team.  Among my achievements I can highlight the corporate content management system for each and any company’s web project, and high-load web portal for one of the political party in Russia. For that web portal my team and I used many new technologies of that period, such as the frontend libraries for building interactive interfaces, as well as various backend technologies.

SITRONICS IT

This was my first fulltime job after I graduated.  The company is the largest developer and supplier of software for telecommunication companies.  This was my first experience in desktop development, having previously spent all of my career in web development.  I was responsible for the development of additional functionality of the information reference system called “009” for MGTS (Moscow City Telephone Network) company.  After the trial period I decided to return to web development.
