Sinds 28 juni 2025 geldt de 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁 (𝗘𝗔𝗔). Nieuwe websites, plugins en diensten moeten direct voldoen. Bestaande sites hebben tot 2030, mits er aantoonbare voortgang is. Een klacht, controle of aanpassing aan je website kan die deadline zomaar naar voren schuiven.

Vandaag is een heerlijke dag, want ik ben met mijn dochter.
En vandaag viel me iets op dat ik meteen herkende uit mijn werk.

De snelheid waarmee haar aandacht verschuift, is identiek aan hoe mensen door websites bewegen.

Ze kijkt in een boek.
Wil daarna tekenen.
Dan hoort ze een geluid.
Dan wil ze een knuffel.
Alles in slechte enkele secondes.

En eerlijk: zo werkt het online net zo.

Een bezoeker komt binnen met volle aandacht.
Die aandacht brokkelt af met elke seconde dat je hem niet geeft wat hij zoekt.
Elke verstoring kost je conversies.
Elke onduidelijkheid kost je vertrouwen.

Bij mijn dochter zie ik precies hetzelfde gebeuren.
Als iets niet duidelijk is, haakt ze af.
Als iets te lang duurt, loopt ze weg.
Als iets niet leuk genoeg is, verliest ze interesse.

Het is geen onwil.
Het is gewoon hoe het brein werkt.
