The reason people are ignoring you ………

 
Is you're speaking over their heads.

Clever language is the enemy.

Most businesses are not getting attention because they’re using inside language. Jargon.

This is fine if a customer has expressed interest and is sitting down and asking you to pitch them.


But  it’s totally different when you’re trying to get attention.

90% of a messaging campaign is to get people to turn and say, "Wait, can you tell me more about that?"


We want to make people go, "Wait, can you tell me more?"

And remember:  The confused mind says no.

 If I don't understand what you're talking about, I'm going to say no.

If you speak over my head, use sophisticated language, use inside jargon, then I don't know what you're talking about. But I'm not going to tell you I don't know what I'm you're talking about. I'm just going to say no.


 If potential customers cannot figure out what problem you can solve for them within seconds, word is unlikely to spread about your product.

You need to make sense immediately.

You start thinking, are we in too deep?


In business, there comes a moment in every major project, investment or strategic shift when uncertainty peaks. Cash flow is tight. Timelines are stretched. Doubt creeps in. 

At these points in business and life I have always found it useful to fall back on previous guidance, structure, strong foundations, and of course faith.


That light shining through the surrounding darkness is what we need to keep going and face adversity straight on. Strong values, clear strategy, and disciplined execution become crucial when things feel unstable.

What feels like the brink of failure can actually be the threshold of growth. The point of no return can also be the point of transformation — where resilience sharpens leadership, pressure builds capability and adversity creates competitive advantage.


Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve turned adversity into success- in business or everyday life?

How easy would it be to find a stranger on LinkedIn and give them £1,000, BUT  they first had to send you £100?



Almost impossible.

Even if the deal was real.

Trust is the foundation of everything in business.
