Engaging in this project involved conducting a business case study and demonstrating creative, intercultural, and management skills. I analyzed and interpreted data to formulate a unique concept. The dynamic environment at BASF, a globally renowned industry leader, coupled with aspects of digitalization, sustainability, and German management practices, honed my abilities in intercultural management, personal development, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Outcome:
I successfully developed a comprehensive concept to promote visibility for Pride Month within and outside the BASF Hub in Berlin.

I focused on enhancing digital marketing campaigns during my tenure as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Datam Tekin Manly Daroo, a company specializing in veterinary medicines in Iran. This included improving media materials like brochures and product images, increasing customer engagement through phone calls and data gathering, and conducting market research to stay ahead of competitors. These efforts contributed to the company's growth and success in the pharmaceutical industry.

I co-founded a lean import-export initiative focused on connecting Iranian organic produce suppliers with buyers across the Persian Gulf region, particularly Qatar during the 2022 World Cup economic boom.

The process was a bootstrapped, ground-up operation — from supplier scouting and deal negotiation to pricing strategy, SEO-driven lead generation, and building our sales funnel. We connected with buyers through LinkedIn, inbound SEO, and a custom-built site and handled logistics planning to meet export requirements.

The greatest challenge was navigating a complex and shifting legal landscape: international sanctions, blocked LC contracts, and a government-mandated foreign exchange platform (Samaneh Nima) that caused up to 30% revenue loss. These unpredictable conditions made it impossible to scale the venture sustainably.

What this project gave me was priceless: hands-on global trade experience, high-stakes problem solving, resilience under pressure, and a clear understanding of how real-world business challenges differ from theory. This journey directly motivated me to pursue an MBA in Germany, aiming to eliminate future barriers and scale compliant, global operations.
