This week I had the pleasure of attending the Women of SaaS Berlin New Year's Reception hosted at EY alongside some of the most inspiring women in the SaaS ecosystem! 🚀 

We tackled a question that's on everyone's mind: Is AI spelling the end of implementation partners, or the beginning of something new? The panel with voices from EY, Snowflake, and DeepL brought sharp, honest perspectives that sparked so many questions and insights. 

However it was the conversations between the conversations that stayed with me most. The energy in that room was a reminder of why community matters... especially in an industry moving as fast as ours. 

This year is all about building stronger networks, asking harder questions, and making 2026 the year we lead with intention.🔥

I couldn’t be prouder to see that many women come together last Tuesday at our Berlin New Year’s Reception powered by EY & Snowflake – to discuss, connect and accelerate their careers.

2️⃣ 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱?

This topic is personally close to my heart. I’ve led partner marketing functions in several companies and strongly believe in a partner-heavy GTM model – strong ecosystems win.

So I was excited to explore what happens to partners as AI starts automating parts of the work they’ve traditionally owned.

We heard there’s clear pressure on traditional models: repetitive, execution-heavy tasks are increasingly handled by AI, enabling faster deployment and less manual setup.

And yet, the market is growing!

Customers demand different things from partners today. It's shifting where value is created: they move from execution-heavy implementation to deeper consulting and guidance – AI architecture, governance, integration and transformation leadership.

As so often, this isn’t a story of disappearance. It’s a story of structural change.
