Hello and welcome to my bio!

   Studying about pharmaceuticals in high school chemistry, in a chapter titled, "Chemistry in Everyday Life", deeply fascinated me towards drug discovery and development. Since then, gaining a deep understanding of the molecular mechanisms regulating pathologies and drug action to develop accessible therapeutic interventions to fulfil unmet healthcare needs has been my north star.

  To fulfill my ambition of facilitating people's access to affordable and scientifically-rational healthcare, I studied pharmacy at the Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri. While working as a pharmacist, I encountered numerous diseases for which no basic scientific research or effective therapeutic interventions existed, which convinced me to pursue further graduate studies and scientific research in the biomedical sciences. 

  As an M.Sc. Biomedical Sciences graduate seeking opportunities in basic sciences and translational research, I am very excited to connect with fellow enthusiastic professionals on LinkedIn. Through my previous education and research, I have developed a strong background in the pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, including experience in wet lab research, data and statistical analysis, and scientific writing. I am highly motivated to undertake challenging projects in these aforementioned research areas, through which I can make a positive impact to the healthcare around the world.

  Previously, I have also worked in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in in-process/on line quality assurance, manufacturing, and packaging shop floors. I have a strong expertise in cGMP operations, documentation, data integrity, validation, regulatory audits, and workplace skills. 

 I am confident my eclectic mix of academic background, research expertise, communication skills, and interests make me a suitable candidate for research-centric roles the pharmaceutical industry and academia.
