At Alma.Me, we help PhDs kick start their careers in industry through on-demand courses, online communities, networking, and resources to help them make the transition from academia to industry with confidence.

As a Chemical Engineering Ph.D. with hands-on, industry-sponsored research experience, I specialize in polymer thin films, surface engineering, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technologies. I’ve collaborated directly with industry leaders like Lam Research, W.L. Gore & Associates, and the U.S. Army Research Lab—developing advanced coatings and materials that address real-world challenges in semiconductors, membranes, and optical systems.

Throughout my doctoral work at Drexel University, I designed custom deposition systems, optimized polymerization processes, and translated complex materials science into scalable outcomes. My approach bridges deep scientific rigor with practical application, strengthened by my commitment to lab safety, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement.

I’m currently seeking R&D or process engineering roles in materials science or manufacturing where I can contribute to innovation, sustainability, and product development. My strengths lie in turning research into results—whether that means delivering data-driven insights, mentoring teammates, or aligning materials innovation with commercial impact.
