Postdoctoral Scientist

I am a dynamic Senior Scientist with over 15 years of experience in neurobiology, focusing on neurodegenerative and rare disorders, including Alzheimer’s and Canavan disease. My work centers on developing advanced 3D neural models and applying cutting-edge biochemical approaches to investigate disease mechanisms, discover new therapeutic strategies, and identify biomarkers.

With a strong track record of leading interdisciplinary research, I have successfully managed and mentored cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. I have independently led innovative research projects and supervised PhD and Bachelor's students as well as technical assistants.

Scientific communication is a key part of my work: I have authored 32 peer-reviewed publications and presented at over 20 international conferences. I am driven by a passion for advancing scientific knowledge and translating complex findings into impactful solutions.
