OUT: Blaming the algorithm
"The algorithm hates me" is old news.

LinkedIn & Instagram changes things constantly, yes. But most of the time, it's your content that needs work.

IN: Adapting to what's working NOW
Adapt or stay invisible.

OUT: Copy-pasting what worked for others
Just because a big account went viral doesn't mean their strategy will work for YOU.

IN: Using YOUR data
Your best strategy is already sitting in your Insights.
Which posts got the most shares? Which topics sparked DMs? Do more of THAT.

OUT: Aesthetic over message
A pretty post with a weak message won't stop the scroll.

IN: Hooks that grab in 3 
seconds (video)
The first 3 seconds decide if someone watches or scrolls.
Make them count. And create content people want to share with a friend.

OUT: Reposting other people's content
Memes and viral reposts get downranked by Instagram now.

Only the original creator gets the reach boost. Instagram even auto-labels and credits the original owner now.


2025 rewarded creators who caught on quick.

2026 will reward the ones who do the same.

12 things that KILL your LinkedIn reach faster than you can say "engagement":

1. Joining every engagement pods and dropping "Nice one!" under posts you didn't even read

2. Letting AI do ALL the talking so you sound like a LinkedIn bot

3. Throwing hashtags around like confetti at a wedding (like 36 hashtags in one post!? 😱)

4. Sliding into DMs with "I noticed we both know John from accounting"

5. Dropping comment sections with just emojis (the algorithm's not buying it, friend)

6. Paying for 15,000 followers from that sketchy account promising "instant growth"

The algorithm doesn't care about your posting schedule or how many growth hacks you've memorized.

It cares about one thing: are people stopping to pay attention?

Say something that matters, and people will listen.

But not planning for it causes you to do things wrong.

I had to learn the hard way how to fire a client without burning bridges.

Sometimes you need to take the initiative to walk away when it's just not working.

And you must be able to protect your peace AND your reputation at the same time.

Sometimes one real conversation can help the relationship.

I communicate clearly and suggest what they might need next. There's no need for drama or ghosting.

Complete what you were paid to do. Hand over everything they need, and explain what happens next.

Because how you LEAVE a contract says more about you than how you started it.

It's a small world.

The client you're ending things with today might refer you to your dream client tomorrow.

Or they might warn people away from you.

Bad clients will come and go.

But your reputation follows you everywhere.

Handle exits with grace, even when they don't deserve it.

. . .especially when they don't deserve it.
