I love making complex things simple. Getting to the core. Cutting through noise to find what truly matters. As my teacher once said, “Half of solving a problem is formulating it correctly.” That principle shapes how I work and why I love what I do.
I began my career in IT as a Java developer, focused on clean, scalable code — but kept running into unclear requirements. I saw how misalignment between business and tech slowed everything down. So I became a Business Analyst to bridge that gap, learning to translate ideas into clear, structured specs.
That path led me into project management, where I took on more responsibility and earned my PMP. Along the way, I embraced Lean-Agile thinking, which reshaped how I approach collaboration, decision-making, and delivering value.
Today, as a Program Manager, I lead cross-functional teams from strategy to delivery — ensuring business goals and execution stay aligned, and helping teams do their best work together.

What drives me:

I’m also someone who doesn’t give up easily. When I was a kid, I set a goal to learn how to ride a bike in one day. I fell a lot, scraped my knees — but by evening, I was riding. That same persistence, courage, and drive still guide me today.

Determinism in decision-making: the myth of the “rational choice”

We often believe our decisions are rational, following a straightforward path of data, analysis, and choice. However, the reality is more complex. Every decision is influenced by a deterministic system rather than pure, independent reasoning.

Key factors that shape our choices include:

- Emotions: stress, confidence, fear, and fatigue
- Memory: past successes and failures that distort risk perception
- Culture & beliefs: personal values, corporate norms, and social context
- Sensory input: how information is framed, timed, and delivered
- Reason & data: metrics, facts, and projections
- Lived experience: the entire journey that has led us to this point

While rational thinking is an important aspect, it is just one input in the decision-making process, not the sole driver.

This understanding is crucial for leaders. Better data alone cannot guarantee better decisions. Instead, leaders can:

- Design better decision contexts
- Reduce cognitive noise and overload
- Account for emotional and psychological states
- Recognize and manage biases rather than ignore them

Strong leadership is not about being “perfectly rational.” It’s about understanding the true determinants of our decisions and learning to navigate them effectively.
