This proverb keeps coming back to me.
Not because it dismisses sorrow - but because it draws a clean line between *experiencing* it and *living inside* it.
We don’t get to control the thoughts or emotions that pass through on a hard day.
We DO get to choose whether we let them take up residence and start shaping our identity, our decisions, or our future.
That small pause - one breath, one reset - is often the difference between wisdom and rumination.

The biggest takeaway of 2025

I didn’t need more ideas.
I needed fewer decisions, faster cycles, and better follow-up.

2026 is simple for me:
• Build less
• Sell earlier
• Follow up harder
• Let systems do the heavy lifting ⚙️
