I started my career impatient, driven, and a little naive. In my mid-20s, I was sprinting up the corporate ladder… and got fired.  

That moment forced me to get honest about what actually changes a team: clarity, standards, and the courage to hold them.

My belief is simple: as AI and automation take more transactions, the human work matters more. Technology multiplies what’s already there (judgment, trust, focus). Software doesn’t change a team. Cadence does.

In 2022, I followed that belief and started Lever Talent. I work with CHROs, CPOs, and HR or L&D leaders to align talent with the business so teams get better because of technology instead of being buried by it. We make it practical:

• Lead with Leverage: a manager cadence that makes expectations real (and conversations easier)
• MVV that sticks: values → rituals → behavior change
• AI, but usable: 30-60-90 change plans that turn pilots into ROI
• People-ops command center: fewer dashboards, better decisions

Since 2017, I’ve been on a mission to kick limitations to the curb—literally and figuratively. While training in martial arts through a global pandemic, I earned my 1st Dan Black Belt in 2021 and 2nd Dan in 2023. What did I learn? That grit, a growth mindset, and the occasional bruised shin can take you further than you think is possible. A Black Belt, after all, is just a White Belt who didn't quit.

That same spirit fuels my professional life. I’ve helped others stretch, grow, and surprise themselves—from first-time presenters to seasoned professionals stepping into new challenges. Along the way, I’ve gone from L&D specialist to instructional designer to a people development pro with a passion for engagement, internal communications, and building engaged cultures where learning sticks.

If it involves helping people do their best work, count me in—fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a “let’s figure this out” attitude.
