Having already led the completion of 10 fully validated production tools, including 2-shot and over-molded tooling, 5 gears and a luer and numerus other design & quality improvement, cost reduction projects saving over $1,000,000.00 and over 30 other molds.

The CorPath System is the first FDA cleared robotic system designed to aid interventional cardiologists in performing PCI. During robotic-assisted PCI, physicians sit in a radiation-shielded workstation, the Interventional Cockpit, and use a set of joysticks and touchscreen controls to robotically manipulate guidewires and balloon/stent catheters during an intervention.

• Lead projects across multiple sites, projects included complete devices, delivery systems, end effectors, stents, catheters and guidewires addressing R&D, start-up, quality, DFMA, testing, and production needs with value and cost savings greater than $1,000,000 each
• Development of an ergonomic one-handed grip and shaft / catheter stent delivery system.

• Designed and developed a Direct Drive Endoscopic Surgery (DDES) OR Table Platform System and articulation joints and end effectors (including 3.2 mm Grasper, Dissector, Scissor & Needle Drivers and other devices - 9 patents granted  for the end effectors and articulation joints) - over 50 total patents filed, over 30 granted. 
• Lead the R&D quality improvements, cost reduction (DFMA), supplier selection and commercialization efforts for a medical device (a single use colonoscope) reducing the cost from over $150.00 to less than $35.00 for the handle / manual controller. Device successfully completed clinical trials. 
• Completed over 100 Intellectual Property patent submissions,over 30 patents granted, over 30 pending.
