How to lose your original work and sanity in 10 seconds: let ChatGPT “just tidy it up.”

It all starts with a "minor tweak," but eventually replaces your style, tone, flow and structure until your authorship has completely vanished. Original ideas wouldn't make much difference beyond this point. You can be flagged for AI slop or plagiarism regardless. 

Most people don’t realize that ChatGPT is not a content editor, just like it’s not an astrologer, doctor, lawyer, or anything else for that matter. 

If you are a student, keep AI fine-tuning, even as seemingly harmless as grammar correction or formatting, out of the process. 

Also, avoid unnecessary AI-detection checks when you are certain no AI was used.
