Working with entrepreneurial students and particularly ones working on AI is my absolute passion. And so with that I am super honored to be able to be a judge for the Presidential AI Challenge. Students will first compete on a state level and winners from each state will then go on to a regional competition and then to a final competition held in DC. 

There is still a need for additional judges so if you work in the field of AI and have a passion for working with kids shoot me a DM.

This was the first thing I thought of when I was asked to author a chapter in this upcoming book on mentorship. I also freaked out a little bit because writing is definitely not my thing.

The founder 50… 
Over the course of the last two years while co-founding AskBobAI I’ve probably put on 50 pounds. While I’m certainly not proud of it, I am ok with it. 

See I made choices over the past two years because of the season I was in. Now, starting off 2026 I consciously made this the year of health. I know myself and my capabilities and I know that the 50 will be gone fairly quickly. I don’t regret prior decisions, I just pivot when the season changes for me. 

While speaking to the kids at Amp Lab at Electric Works last week one student asked me what bad advice I had received in life. 

Rather than give something specific, I told them to take advice with a grain of salt. Not everyone’s advice will fit the season you are in and the important thing is to be ok with the decisions you make. 

Now that being said, time to get my butt back into the gym. 😎

Instantis is a company that Oracle acquired as part of its cloud strategy. When I learned that Oracle was buying this leading PPM cloud company, I wanted to be one of the global leaders to help bring Instantis on board and drive new sales. Every day was filled with variety, helping to enable new partners, finding new clients in new uncharted markets, speaking at events all across Asia Pacific and developing strategies that would work for Oracle in the region.

In the year I doubled the number of customers in the APAC, grew our alliances and partners so we could reach new customers, trained all internal sales teams and created new presentation materials for the global team. I used LinkedIn to encourage customers to join webinars I was hosting, I discovered and implemented new ways to develop relationships with customers in new markets using social media and I developed customised marketing campaigns for each country in APAC. 

Speaking to large sponsored events in India, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Australia I was able to grow the Instantis pipeline and deliver the value of Instantis as a cloud PPM solution.

Instantis Specialist Sales - Asia Pacific

Oracle is one of the largest computer technology companies in the world offering solutions for enterprise customers. I worked in the Primavera Global Business Unit as an Account Director responsible for developing new business and managing existing enterprise accounts. 

Primavera was a company that Oracle acquired in 2009, and what was special about Primavera is that it became a Global Business Unit (GBU). The excitement of being part of a newly acquired company and the creation of a largely autonomous entity in Oracle really drew me to the role. I learned a lot about Project and Portfolio Management in this time and ended shaping and understanding business in Australia in new markets (such as financial services). 

I was responsible for prospective clients (which I chose with my manager) as part of largely uncharted territory. Primavera was traditionally successful and well known in capital intensive industries, but not well known in Financial Services, Telecommunications and Government. This became my focus. In this role, I helped some of the existing customers to transition to the new Oracle platform, and discovered the opportunities in these new industries. I worked extensively with our partner network to help them to be successful and found new business in these other industries.

I joined the fast-paced business intelligence team at Oracle. It allowed me to call on my financial and accounting background to help address the growing needs of companies to be able to harness the growing volumes of data from various departments to build real value.
