I want to share something that surprised me 👀

I had a page ranking high in Google Search Console.

1,700+ impressions.

Zero clicks.

And no, it wasn’t [just] a keyword problem.

It wasn’t a traffic problem.

It was a meaning problem.

Here’s the wild part: the concept that helped me diagnose it didn’t come from SEO training… it came from my son’s 5th grade English homework.

Subject.
Predicate.
Object.

That’s when it clicked:

Search engines and AI don’t just look at words. They try to understand relationships.

Who is this for?
What is it?
Why does it matter in this situation?

When those things don’t line up, you can rank all day long and still hear crickets.

In my case, I was ranking for a broad discovery query while offering a high-ticket, high-commitment product. 

On paper, it looked fine. In reality, it made no sense to the searcher.

Once I reframed the page using semantic alignment instead of “better keywords,” the problem became obvious — and fixable.

This is why I keep saying:

👉🏽 RANKING is easy.
👉🏽 Being understood is the real work.
