Se vorbeste public mai mult despre burnout in ultima vreme si asta e f bine. Deja suntem, in Romania, un pas mai aproape de punctul in care burnout-ul sa fie recunoscut oficial ca afectiune (sper sa se intample Legea Burnout in conditii bune pt angajati). 

Se vorbeste despre definirea burnout-lui de un minister sau altul - insa e deja definit de Organizatia Mondiala a Sanatatii din 2019. Nu e ideala formularea dar exista, si e suficient sa fie folosita, asa cum au facut-o si altii. 

Nu sunt multe tari in care burnout-ul e recunoscut (le numeri pe degete), insa in cele in care este, oamenii in burnout chiar primesc suport sa se refaca. Am clienti din aceste tari, si lucrez si cu oameni din tari in care nu exista acest suport, iar diferenta in procesul de recuperare se simte. Sa poti lua concediu pe termen lung si sa primesti veniturile din asigurarea de sanatate face o diferenta mare. 

Nu stiu cum va arata la noi aceasta recunoastere a burnout-ului, concret, detaliile vor conta, insa e un pas in directia buna si e bine ca ceva se misca. 

Sunt cativa ani buni de cand comunic public despre burnout, una din specializarile mele. L-am studiat, am adaptat si folosesc o interventie specifica pentru burnout, lucrez zilnic cu clienti in epuizare. Am fost eu insami in burnout si m-am recuperat. Am scris mult despre asta si pe social media. Am vorbit despre burnout si in podcastul Renascut (episoadele inca sunt disponibile). 

Recuperarea dureaza si e mare nevoie de multa sustinere. Sunt niste mecanisme complexe care ne predispun la si ne tin in epuizare, multe interne, multe de mediu (de lucru, personal). 

Refacerea e un proces care implica toate planurile - minte, corp, mediu - si care nu se intampla peste noapte. Nici in burnout nu intram de pe o zi pe alta, de altfel. E un proces personal si revenirea din epuizare cere atat o abordare personalizata cat și sa lucram sa prevenim recaderea. 

Asa ca orice resursa in plus ajuta. Pe langa sisteme care sa sustina - si sper sa le avem in curand -  e nevoie de noi, ca oameni, care sa sustinem pe cineva aflat in dificultate. 

Am vazut si cazuri in care, desi sistemul teoretic sustine, oamenii din sistem impiedica recuperarea unei persoane din burnout, preseaza intoarcerea la lucru inainte de a fi pregatit. Am vazut si opusul, cu multa sustinere. Diferenta e enorma, chiar are impact. 

E nevoie sa ne activam noi, ca oameni, ca suflete, sa ne ingrijim de aceia dintre noi care, temporar, nu sunt bine. Sa le oferim suport, sa-i ajutam sa primeasca sustinerea specializata de care au nevoie. 

E valabil si pt alte afectiuni de sanatate psihica, nu doar in burnout. 

Asa ca, si cu si fara legea burnout, companiile pot oferi inca de pe acum sustinere angajatilor epuizati. Pot ajuta la prevenirea burnout-ului in randul colegilor lor. Nu ne impiedica nimeni sa fim oameni si sa avem grija de oamenii importanti pt noi.
