I work with children, teens, families, couples, and women.  I have extensive experience with issues involving special needs, their siblings, and the family unit, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders. A few of the issues I work with are depression, self-harm, AD/HD, Autism, school concerns, marriage, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, communication, and many more. I have completed Gottman Level 2 training in Marriage Therapy.

Licensed Professional Counselor

I worked with survivors of major disasters, war, childhood physical and sexual trauma, rape, violent crime, and other forms of traumatic events using a holistic and systemic understanding of traumatic stress.

How people respond to traumatic stress is an individual matter based on a number of factors including psychological, emotional, social, cultural, biological, spiritual, and familial. I will work individuals to analyze their various defense mechanisms and other coping skills used during and following the experience of traumatic stress. Methods used are research based and include: Crisis intervention, Critical incident stress debriefing, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Sensorimotor approaches.

I specialize in working with children, teens, women, families, and couples on all issues. I also have extensive experience with issues involved special needs, their siblings, and the family unit, especially with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
