I work with children, teens, families, couples, and women.  I have extensive experience with issues involving special needs, their siblings, and the family unit, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders. A few of the issues I work with are depression, self-harm, AD/HD, Autism, school concerns, marriage, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, communication, and many more. I have completed Gottman Level 2 training in Marriage Therapy.

I worked with survivors of major disasters, war, childhood physical and sexual trauma, rape, violent crime, and other forms of traumatic events using a holistic and systemic understanding of traumatic stress.

How people respond to traumatic stress is an individual matter based on a number of factors including psychological, emotional, social, cultural, biological, spiritual, and familial. I will work individuals to analyze their various defense mechanisms and other coping skills used during and following the experience of traumatic stress. Methods used are research based and include: Crisis intervention, Critical incident stress debriefing, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Sensorimotor approaches.

Lead the United States Naval Academy Marine Detachment towards the accomplishment of our mission of informing, influencing, and assessing Midshipmen into the United States Marine Corps.

US Marine Corps

Serve as the Aircraft Fleet representative for 12 F-5 aircraft valued at $60M. Manage organization of 120 Marines and Contract personnel with a focus on professional advancement, personal growth, and career development.
• Collaborate with higher headquarters both within the United States Marine Corps and Navy to ensure adequate resourcing, procurement, tactics, and development of the Marine Corps Fighter Pilot Adversary Program.
• Coordinate directly with headquarters to enable the establishment of a second defense Fighter Pilot Adversary Program on the East Coast.
• Established the first safety management system, wrote Standard Operating Procedures, and maximized safety and efficiency by 40%.
• Reestablished the organizational culture of excellence while managing one of the highest operational tempos in Marine Aviation.

Commanding Officer

Directed curriculum development and execution as well as all academic courseware and standardization in training which impacted 500 Pilots, Communication Officers, Intelligence Officers, and Combat Engineers annually. Guided operational development and integration across the United States Marine Corps and the Department of Defense for the Marine Aviation Weapons & Tactics Squadron One.
• Headed, scheduled, and executed a 3-day training conference refresher to teach alumni new tactics, methods, and strategies for veteran fighter pilots.
• Planned, scheduled, and delivered 250+ classes between 21 different divisions while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, adequately establishing risk mitigation efforts while maintaining an effective training environment.
• Re-wrote Instructor Training and Academic Courseware standardizations.
• Completed a formal school technical refresh (FSTR) valued at $874K. 
• Renegotiated a $3M support contract for the Marine Corps only Fighter –Weapons School to better meet current training requirements

Academic Dean

Oversaw Human Resources & Personnel (Manpower Management) including Leadership (Officer) Assignments for the United States Marine Corps Headquarters. Directly responsible to the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs for Aviation Officer assignments and career management. Managed career development of 800 Fixed Wing Field Grade Aviation Officers. Achieved staffing goal of 300 leadership placements annually across all operational units. Coordinated and executed LtCol Command Screening Board.
• Directly guided the careers of 580 Senior Leaders including Directors (Field Grade Officers) across nine distinct career fields while continuously providing counsel on career progression and assignments.
• Generated 130+ sets of orders effectively managing global operations manpower requirements across the USMC, Joint Commands, and DoD.
• Researched, compiled, and submitted a comprehensive article for publication to the Marine Corps Gazette offering solutions to the global operations manning issues.
• Maintained 80% retention rate resulting in monetary bonuses for pilots and saved $110M in potential losses ($11M per pilot) through retention efforts by placing pilots in a training support role to bolster active-duty efforts.

Human Resources Director

Appointed as Chief Operations Officer / AV-8B Standardization and Check Pilot for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. Directly responsible to the Commanding General and the Commanding Officer for all aviation training and standardization matters. Oversaw flight simulation development, AV-8B pre-deployment training, tactics standardization, and instructor qualifications. Coordinated a complex flight training scenario involving the scheduling of all academic, simulator, and flight events.
• Accomplished scheduling and de-confliction of personnel and the use of $10.5B in AV-8B simulator assets; provided crucial hands-on mentorship and oversight to 25 junior pilots.
• Maintained the training and standardization of all Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) pilots; developed individualized training plans for flight leadership advancement and instructor qualifications.

Director Of Operations

Served in simultaneous roles of Operations Officer, Director of Safety and Standardization, and Pilot Training Officer. Planned and executed an annual, quarterly, and monthly training plan and managed training and readiness in the Western Pacific area of operations.
• Managed operational planning and pilot training for 250+ personnel and 15 aircraft valued at $30M. Developed and executed $685K+ annual budget for training organizations.
• Led planning for two training organizations in preparation for global travel. Coordinated with international agencies and NATO allies to support contingency operations within the Central Command including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
• Prepared and executed 24 monthly and weekly flight schedules allowing for safe and efficient training of pilots.
• Developed a Standard Operating Procedure for maintenance and flight operations that resulted in over 3,000 mishap-free flight hours and the awarding of the 2014 Chief of Naval Operations Safety Award.
• Solely responsible for the training, development, and mentoring of 18 pilots, successfully preparing them for combat operations.

Operations Manager

Directed implementation of senior management’s policies for one eight-month global combat operations and two training exercises that each lasted for two months. Led logistics and data systems planning, along with preparation and execution of $2.5M budget including costs associated with a move of 291 personnel and 10 aircraft valued at $300M to and from Afghanistan, and two training deployments to CA.
• Planned and executed the movement of 53K short tons of equipment between the continental United States and Afghanistan.
• Budgeted, authorized, and managed $225K worth of assets with 100% accountability and zero discrepancies.
