I spent 20+ years in startup and corporate roles – learning behaviours and mindsets to lead myself and my teams effectively. I discovered leading can be both fun and results-driven.

I experimented with my career and my life: 
- I took many roles - engg. manager, strategist, ops guy, and then partnerships and sales 
- I worked and lived in different parts of the world - Middle East, USA, South East Asia.

I made life pivots. I dealt with the fear of bringing my income down to zero (twice!) before rebuilding it to higher levels.

I started leading in 2004 (at Wipro), and realised that inspiring and motivating others requires self-awareness and continuous personal development.

At BCG, I learned the foundations of business and leadership.

At HP, PayPal and Visa, I managed, influenced, and motivated without reporting line authority. I survived and thrived in matrixed organisations. I learned how to align, inspire, and clarify. 

At R3, I dug deep to explore myself. I discovered how to support leaders who were topic experts and more experienced than me. I learned how to tap into their intrinsic motivation to enable results we cared for.

These experiences led me to be a coach. I decided to spend the second half of my life actively serving others. I am on constantly learning, feeling challenged, and serving. I share my learnings on LinkedIn regularly.

Throughout my career, I have successfully launched & scaled businesses, driven revenue growth, led cross-functional teams and forged strategic partnerships. My journey has seen me in various roles from advising CXOs at CEB (now Gartner); building out the Digital & Fintech Partnerships function at Visa APAC; launching a region at startups like Zip (AXS:Z1P) to managing P&L's for mid-sized tech businesses. That diversity of experience has helped me hone skills in Sales Leadership, P&L Management, GTM Strategies, Strategic Partnerships and Cross-Geography Team Management. My experience spans multiple geographies - APAC, US & EMEA. 

I believe that great people and motivated teams are the key to success and have been lucky enough to lead several talented teams through my career. As a leader, I inspire and align my teams to realize ambitious growth targets, break down silos, empower others, and foster connections. In 2023, I was selected as one of the top Fintech Leaders in Singapore as part of the Fintech65 list sponsored by the Singapore Fintech Association. In 2019, I was selected as a Rise Up 'Power Player' honoring the Top 30 Women in Payments in Asia-Pacific. 

I am passionate about diversity & inclusion issues in the workplace. Most recently, I've served as a panelist and mentor in For Her Success, a group for women in Customer Success. I have also served as a Mentor for the Led By Foundation, a leadership program for the development of young Indian Muslim women. I am also an active angel investor via the female-founder focused Epic Angels Network.

In addition, I am also a Grassroots Leader for the Balmoral Neighborhood Committee, volunteering for the betterment of my community.
