I've lied to my 9732 followers.

And I'm not sorry about it

Because my entire LinkedIn journey is 
built on one lie.

And today I’m finally breaking it. 

The lie?

That the results you see today came easily.

They didn’t.

I wasn’t the "DM nerd."

I wasn’t the guy people came to for leads.

I wasn’t the guy booking 21 calls in a month.

I was the guy sending 200 connection requests
getting 10 replies
and wondering why nothing was working.

People see the results now.

They don’t see the part where I almost quit thrice.

That’s the lie I’m finally done telling. 

Here's how it all started.

1998 to 2018: Let's not talk about that.

2018: Graduated from UNI only to know that my degree didn't hold any value, lol. Joined a couple of Startups to see what the 'real' world stuff looks like. 

2020: Thanks to the pandemic, I joined my family business & supported my old man. Lol, he still thinks about why I joined him. 

2021: Applied for a Masters (got in Babson College) but couldn't go since the economic conditions in the US didn't look positive. Plus, I had to invest upwards of $100k for a year (my dad's slowly blinking his eye over this figure). 

2022: Heartbroken after I couldn't go to Babson, I slogged my way through family business to understand how things work. Got a good hold of things, but still wasn't as excited about what I was doing in my life. 

2023: Invested in a couple of ideas that failed miserably & ended up losing $2k (oopsie). Tried food vlogging on Instagram and got delicious food to taste, but no cash yet. Did get lots of eyeballs, thought (mini-win).

June 2023: Sick and tired of Instagram, I came to LinkedIn & ended up reading Ruben Hassid's posts & Matt Lakajev's posts (never did I know this guy was going to be my saviour when I was planning on quitting LinkedIn). 

And the rest is history, as they say...

Quickly learnt stuff about AI, Personal Branding, Ghostwriting, and bits about lead generation. 

Helped 100 people with their profile optimization to get testimonials and case studies. 

Fast-forward to November 2025, I'm grateful to have helped: 

a. 100+ C-level exs with profile optimization. 

b. 50+ with personal branding, GH, and lead generation. 

c. Have absolutely crushed it for my clients in various niches. 

d. Built a solid portfolio of people I've helped. 

And have made $60k in net profit to support my family (the high that this emotion gives is unmatched)

Breakdown of my client’s lead magnet post that closed multiple 5-fig deals, booked 75+ qualified meetings, generated 2,000 warm leads, and pulled in 200k+ impressions (steal the template). 

Most founders think a "lead magnet post" is just a clever hook + a comment CTA.

But the posts that actually bring in warm leads?

They do something very different.

They teach your audience something meaningful in under 30 seconds.

Because at its core:

A lead magnet post = a free mini-solution to a painful problem your ideal client wants solved today.

- It gives them a quick win,
- It removes an immediate headache,
- And in return, they raise their hand so you can nurture them.

This is why the lead magnet we built for my client worked so well.

It directly solved a problem that 90% of his market was struggling with.

Here’s the full breakdown of what we did:

1. We picked ONE pain that hits his ICP every day.

Most founders write posts for everyone.

We wrote this one for the one person who wakes up thinking about:

"My $300k/yr marketing team is slow, expensive, and overloaded."

Nothing else.

When you write for one person, 1,000 raise their hands.

2. We used a hook that punched straight at the problem.

Not fancy.
Not clever.

It was:

"These 4 AI agents do the work of a $300k/year marketing team at 1/10th the cost."

Why it worked?

It tells you the value, the contrast, and the benefit - all in one line.

Busy founders don’t reward mystery.
They reward clarity.

3. We stacked proof early so people knew it wasn’t a theory.

We didn’t say:

"AI is powerful."
"Automation helps teams."

We said:

→ 4x more engagement
→ 80% less manual work
→ $30k saved last quarter

Facts > opinions.

4. We showed the actual system (not just "tips").

Most LinkedIn posts talk in ideas.

We broke down exactly what the AI stack did, including:

→ A/B testing
→ Segmentation
→ Content writing
→ Performance tracking

This is why the post hit 2,000 warm leads, 200k+ impressions, 75+ meetings, and multiple 5-figure deals.

Because when you show the machine,
People want the machine.

5. We ended with a simple, obvious CTA.
