New Claude skill for Attio

I built a Claude skill for Attio that helps detect and handle duplicate records in a more structured way.

I uploaded it to GitHub, so anyone who uses Attio and Claude can use it.

The idea is simple: first detect possible duplicates, then review a clear report, and only after that decide whether to merge. Nothing happens automatically without your approval.

The skill works with People, Companies, Custom Objects, and Lists. You can choose your own matching rules, use strict or broad logic, and even enable fuzzy matching for cases like small name variations.

It also supports two ways of working: through Attio MCP for API-based workflows, or through the browser for visual confirmation in the Attio UI.

One part I especially wanted to make useful was transparency. The skill shows why records were grouped together, what data would be transferred, and where conflicts need a closer look before merging.

I made it because deduplication is one of those messy CRM problems that almost everyone runs into sooner or later, especially when data comes from imports, forms, enrichment tools, and manual entry.

Now it’s live on GitHub and available for anyone who wants to try it with Attio and Claude, and I’ll be open to comments.
