I've been active on LinkedIn as "myself" for many years, but have wanted to write under a moniker for a long time. 

Not to be controversial or "hide" :-)

But just to not be "me" from time to time.

C+ Jim started as me just being a logo, but has now evolved to showing my face after I lost my job late August of 2022.

C+ were my grades in university, and "Jim" ... well I had one professor that thought my name was Jim so I did not correct him all year. :-)

Covid has been difficult on everyone in some way, shape or form. I've definitely had my days, but overall I've handled it pretty well.

I try not to use the "R word" too often, but I do regret not jumping on LinkedIn early during Covid and sharing my positive, constructive thoughts. There are a lot of them housed in my brain :-)

The good news? I'm here now and I'm super PUMPED about it.

I want to build a community, be of service and provide value with everything I create and share on this platform. Just like I've done in the past on my regular profile.

My areas of interest include leadership, sales & marketing, job search strategy, personal branding, social media strategy, networking and life lessons learned in business and beyond.

I want the focus to be on my words. 

I want to write about what's happening in my life RIGHT NOW. And of course share lessons learned over the years.
