I was born in Germany into an American-Persian Baha’i family. Speaking three languages at once was the norm. I've lived in Europe, the USA, and Africa, and seen 25+ countries.

I studied IB at a United World College, whose mission is to be a “force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace.”

After IB, I toured 16+ European countries for a year with a German-based dance group; my dream was to become a multi-media producer. I became a medical doctor instead.

Early Career:
At 22, I moved to San Francisco just before the dot-com bubble burst, started in marketing at QuinStreet in the early days of affiliate marketing and customer acquisition. I gained invaluable internet business experience and contributed to QuinStreet's journey to IPO (NASDAQ: QNST). By 25, a side gig building websites on nights and weekends started generating $30k/month and led me to start working for myself.

Entrepreneurial Success:
Between ages 25 and 32, I bootstrapped and sold three companies, achieving six-figure, seven-figure, and eight-figure exits, all without any outside capital. Highlights include selling a health and nutrition blog for $600k, a portfolio of websites that achieved 100% of its earn-out for 7-figures, and the comparison shopping fintech platform Trouve to Bankrate for 8-figures.

Current Ventures:
I serve on seven boards, guiding companies from startups to those with $3B+ in sales. I lead a $100m investment fund and run the Antonio V Glassberg Educational Foundation, supporting bright kids with physical challenges. Additionally, I am spearheading "The Inflection” with Sahil Bloom (which I expect to be my biggest and best work).

As the founding CEO of Shortlist, I worked on youth unemployment in Africa through HR technology and advisory services. I am committed to continuous learning, having studied with experts like Dr. John Gottman and trained in numerous professional coaching, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and mindfulness programs.

For example, Company X saw one of their top-performing ads come from a founder-led video. The founder sat in a car and casually shared their favorite products — no script, no studio, no fuss. Just authenticity. That one simple, honest testimonial outperformed far more polished campaigns because it felt human.

The fastest growing brands follow this simple formula:

5 parts social. 1 part search.

The digital media landscape has shifted — dramatically. Most of today’s fastest-growing brands spend roughly five times more on social than on search. This doesn’t mean SEO is obsolete. It means that product, positioning, and creative need to evolve for the attention economy we live in today. Search captures intent. Social creates demand. The balance between the two determines who leads and who lags.

Connor Rolain, Head of Growth at a $1B DTC brand, put it perfectly: “Unless you’re a big-time demand capture play (like tires or mattresses), it’s rare for search to be 50% of your media mix.” Drew Fallon, Co-Founder & CEO of the DTC finance SaaS company Iris — someone who sees more brand P&Ls than almost anyone — added: “The best brands I see are 5:1 social to search.”

Product-channel fit makes you scale.

Product-market fit used to be enough. Today, product-channel fit separates slow growers from breakout brands. The strategic takeaway is simple: your product roadmap should be shaped by the channels you plan to win in.

SEO-first products
These are complex, science-heavy, and education-driven. They build credibility over time and win with high-intent audiences. Long-form content, detailed benefits, and trust signals matter. 

Social-first products
