As a Senior Product Manager, my responsibilities included:

• Collaborating with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to define feature requirements
• Managing the backlog and leading prioritisation discussions
• Driving agile practices to increase velocity, quality, and engagement

I spearheaded the re-architecture of dormakaba's global web infrastructure with a budget of 10 million EUR spanning across 30 websites. 

My most relevant achievements were: 
• Shortlisted for Best of Swiss Web-Award 2023
• A reduction by approx. 75% of manual work needed by web editors to manag website content 
• A 10x faster time-to-market for new features through agile processes
• An improve uptime to 99.99% through a state-of-the-art microservices architecture

My responsibilities as the Product Owner were: 
• Lead the Product Discovery including competitor analysis and user research
• Developed the Product Roadmap
• Managed and prioritised the Product Backlog
• Planned of the sprints and deployments
• Supervised the go-live of the new websites 
• Led a cross-functional team of 50 people from 30 countries

I pioneered dormakaba’s content marketing strategy by implementing a corporate blog. 

My most relevant achievement was:
• Growing the monthly readership to 20k users within 1.5 years through strategic content planning and expansion to 8 languages

As the Editor-in-Chief of the dormakaba Blog my responsibilities were:
• Managing the content plan in alignment with the global marketing schedule
• Leading the development of our technical platform 
• Creating content for senior managers to position them as thought leaders in the industry  
• Leading a cross-functional editorial team 10 members and 30 SMEs

While I didn't know about Product Management during my school years, I had a clear vision of my dream job. Back in High School, as part of a career counseling exercise, I wrote a letter describing my ideal profession. I wanted to create new things, work independently, shoulder responsibilities, and collaborate with people. When I compare this description with my current role as a Senior Product Manager, it matches perfectly - dream job found.

Currently, I'm living this dream at iluminr, a pioneering B2B startup. As their Senior Product Manager, I work alongside an incredible team committed to disrupting the resilience industry. In my role, I'm deeply involved in all facets of product management, from shaping the overall strategy and planning the roadmap to managing the backlog and orchestrating releases. Additionally, I champion agile methodologies and advocate for innovative collaboration techniques.

I thrive on solving complex customer problems that combine experiments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and modern technologies. My passion lies in developing products that base on intelligent and well-structured processes and data models, that can scale indefinitely, accommodate customisation and allow efficient integrations. When it comes to collaboration, I advocate for openness, transparency, communication and clarity.

Beyond my experience in product management, I bring a decade of marketing and communication expertise gained in both corporate and agency environments. My journey includes roles in Internal Communications, Financial Communications, and Marketing Communications.

What ties all my roles together is the fact that they were all new positions, ones I had to carve and shape myself. I excel at creating and launching initiatives from the ground up, and I genuinely enjoy this process.

Outside of work, I find balance in the great outdoors through hiking, on my yoga mat, or in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives.
