I went to ACTS to help them however I could.  What I ended up doing was helping them to upgrade their network infrastructure to link the main clinic with the pharmacy as well as to other local health resources.  I also won them grants from Microsoft and Dell for new software and computers.

Since 2009, I've been using animation to tell stories that matter. Stories are powerful. They tell us who we are, what we believe in, and how we should relate to the world around us. My life is dedicated to using that power to make the world a better place for everyone in it.

Duke & Duck is the Emmy award-winning content studio I started with my best friend Dave back in 2009. We produce brand videos, social content, explainers, advocacy campaigns, and animation for documentaries. Most of our work is direct to clients where we serve as strategic advisors and content creators, but we also work with select agencies as partners. We have years of experience creating award-winning animated content for household brands, including: Capital One, the ACLU, Nestlé, Patagonia, and National Geographic.

In 2022, I founded Double Scoop Studio with a single goal: To make sure that the next generation has access to stories that put as much emphasis on positive social values and impact as they do on entertainment and turning a profit. We make proprietary content for non-profits who want to reach kids, and develop and produce our own original IP. Our partners include the American Red Cross and PBS Kids.

As Chief Strategy Officer at Social Driver, I’m passionate about helping organizations cut through the noise with people-centered digital strategies. I co-founded our firm to reimagine how companies and causes connect with people—and I’m proud that our clients, from Amazon to the American Diabetes Association, trust us to deliver creative solutions that make them more relevant in a fast-changing world.

I also love bringing people together for meaningful conversations about the future. As Chairman of the National Digital Roundtable, I’ve hosted discussions everywhere from the West Wing of The White House to LinkedIn’s HQ. And as host of Chief Influencer, a podcast produced in partnership with The George Washington University, I spotlight leaders who know how to break through and make an impact.

Anthony Shop is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Social Driver, a leading digital services firm that helps companies and nonprofits develop people-centered strategies across branding, social media, websites, content, and advertising. He chairs the National Digital Roundtable, the premier convener of digital leaders and policy shapers, and hosts the Chief Influencer podcast in partnership with The George Washington University. A former newspaper reporter and press secretary, Anthony has been recognized as an “OUTstanding LGBT Role Model” by The Financial Times and “40 Under 40” by The Washington Business Journal. He serves on the boards of the Public Affairs Council, WAMU 88.5, Leadership Greater Washington, and the Advisory Board for LearnServe International. He earned his MBA from The George Washington University School of Business, where he teaches as an adjunct lecturer.
