As the Founder and CEO of GoChip Pet Technology, I’m on a mission to revolutionize companion animal management and safety in urban environments. My passion lies in creating innovative solutions that enhance the well-being of companion animals their guardians.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, entrepreneurship, and international relations, I bring a unique perspective and robust network to the emerging animal tech sector. My journey is fueled by a vision to launch and scale pet tech products that make a tangible difference in the lives of animals their guardians and the communities in which they live.

I hold an Oxford Blockchain Certification and have previously held leadership roles at Velas AG, and DACSEE, and was a co-founder of CanCham PRD. These experiences equipped me to build and launch GoChip, a cutting-edge platform that provides digital identities and records for animals. Our patent-pending technology not only creates the world’s first unified digital ID for animals but also allows for direct interaction with an animal’s microchip via a smartphone—an industry first.

At GoChip, we collaborate with all stakeholders in an animals life, from  veterinarians, shelters, and local governments to e-commerce platforms, insurance providers and NGOs promote animal welfare and responsible guardianship. Our goal is to reimagine the relationship between people, animals, and cities, creating a safer and more connected world for all.

I made $300K in college by figuring out one thing. How to hijack attention on the internet. And that skill changed my life.

Here's my story in 93 seconds.

2004: I build an online magazine and make money by selling ads.  I run it while in college and sell to a large publisher in 2009.

2011: I stumble into the world of YouTube influencers and figure they could make money working with brands. So I start brokering deals. It’s a good little business — but I have bigger plans.

2015: I launch Influicity, an early influencer marketing agency. And I make so many mistakes. But with the help of a great team, we find our groove. Eventually we win clients like Walmart and Bank of America.

2019: Influicity grows fast and starts offering more services. Podcasts, social media, email, SEO and more. I want to help businesses grow through marketing that actually works.

2021: I start a podcast called Making It with Jon Davids. It’s a slow start. Fast forward 3 years — now it’s a top-10 Marketing podcast across the world, according to Apple.

2024: I publish my first book, Marketing Superpowers. Sharing my lessons from a decade of knowledge working with 100’s of brands. It’s the book I wish existed when I started.

Pepsi shoulda gone bankrupt. But this one move changed everything. 

Rewind to 1975. Pepsi is getting crushed by Coca-Cola. And they’ve gotta make a big move, fast. That’s when they think up a simple idea. 

It’s a blind taste test. 

They set up a table at a store in Dallas. They pour Coke in one cup and Pepsi in the other. Then they ask random people to take a sip and pick a favorite.

And most people are picking Pepsi. 

So Pepsi does something nuts. 

They grab a video camera and start recording the taste tests. Next, they throw up the raw footage on local TV. And this thing is a hit. 

People are watching Coke get humiliated in public. 

It's the start of the Pepsi Challenge. One of the greatest marketing campaigns of all time.

Don’t tell people how good you are. Let your customer say it for you.

This is a million dollar business on a motorcycle. 

These guys in China created this fancy tent that they rent out for weddings and corporate events. 

It fits 20 tables. It’s got lighting and air conditioning. And this whole thing folds up so you can throw it on your motorcycle. 

You could rent this thing out for $5,000 a night.

Get a few bikes going, and you’ve got a multi-million dollar motorcycle machine.

The best businesses don’t look like businesses at all.

This guy built a law firm pulling in $2B a year. And they never go to court. 

In 1951, Austin’s a young lawyer working in New York. And he notices something quickly. 

There’s this tiny area of law that all the firms are ignoring. 

Immigration. 

And it makes sense. This stuff is boring and procedural. Not what the big lawyers wanna do. 

But Austin sees the opportunity. You see, the world is changing fast. And mega-companies across America need international talent. 

Scientists, engineers, professors. 

And he figures he can help. So Austin ditches his job and starts a firm of his own. It’s called Fragomen. 

Focusing 100% on immigration. 

He builds his own system to get the job done. Then he starts training other lawyers on his system.

And corporations love it. This is a one stop shop. 

Fast forward to 2026, Fragomen works with the biggest companies in the US. Making $2B a year.

There’s big money doing the work everyone else ignores.

If you wanna make more money without getting more customers, you need to understand one thing:

Keep Providing Value.

The best example is a bank.

→ They get you to open your first account at 12

→ Get a credit card at 18

→ Lease your car at 22

→ Sell you car insurance the same day

→ Give you a home mortgage by 30

They know that every solution creates a new problem. Life creates new problems. And they’ll sell you the next fix.

Maybe you can’t solve solve every problem your customer has. But can you solve 5 things? Maybe 3 things? 

Real growth comes from solving the next problem.
