•	Created an innovative world class beverage program focused on 'craft' wine, beer, spirits with a strong emphasis on the art and theater of mixology.
•	Initiated a state of the art beverage system - highly purified water, cold draft ice cubes, 7 cocktails on tap, 25+ original cocktails, 30 craft beers, 70 small production wines and 200 craft spirits.

Distributed: Cold River Vodka and Gin, Mad Fish and Bird in Hand wines.
•	Founded an international sales, importing and distribution company focused on spirits from Brazil, creating Beleza Pura Cachaça, Beleza Pura Caipirinha (RTD) while also offering three artisan brands with sales in ten US markets, NZ and the Caribbean.
•	The company was the first importer to introduce a portfolio of super premium Cachaças in the US. 
•	Sold over 15,000 cases of Beleza Pura and 5,000 cases of artisan brands. 
•	Developed and executed experiential marketing plans, leveraging available resources to capture market share and drive volume, awareness and market visibility.
•	Executed a marketing campaign that garnered over 72 million impressions, 100 articles and 240 events, which directly tasted 64,000 consumers.  
•	Managed all intellectual property, sales, marketing, finances, regulatory, legal, logistics and operational functions along with fundraising activities.

His diverse clients have included leading restaurants to billion-dollar companies - all who are serious in buying and investing in fine and rare wines, and luxury service.

For more than 30 years Olie curated fine wines and spirits for some of the nation’s most influential restaurants, working closely with leading chef’s, sommeliers and mixologists around the nation. 

He is hospitality based, a former award-winning, competitive NYC sommelier, US importer, educator, and military veteran. 

Having worked with top global auction houses of Fine Wine & Spirits, he offers a unique perspective on the fine and rare market.

Olie is a pioneer in the craft spirits movement, introducing his curated collection of world-class Brazilian spirits in 2004. He created and brought to market distilled spirits like Beleza Pura Cachaça (acting as the master blender), a ready to drink Caipirinha cocktail (2 years in formulation), and his wine, The Sommelier’s Selection. He has also worked closely building brands such as Moët Hennessy, Grey Goose, Tanqueray, Patron, Maker’s Mark and Aviation Gin.
