All my life I’ve been a fierce force of imagination, persistence, and hard work: like a dragon hunting for gold. But instead of treasure, I’ve been searching for stories to tell and ways to make an impact.

Born in Belarus, I studied journalism in Bulgaria and worked in marketing in Russia, but storytelling has always been my true passion. I create narratives that allow people to explore fresh perspectives in a safe, immersive way.

As a queer, neurodivergent woman from a patriarchal country, I’m passionate about shedding light on complex topics through my work. Over the years, I’ve designed more than 100 LARP games, written 10+ original tabletop campaigns, and worked as a script supervisor on the short film Mein Name Akim (2024), which tells the story of transgender refugees in Germany.

During my MA in Serial Storytelling at IFS Cologne, I honed my skills across genres, working on solo projects as well as collaborating in Writers' Rooms.

Currently, I’m co-developing a visual novel game with a co-author as a passion project.

Now that I've completed my degree, I’m eager to bring my creativity to TV and gaming, crafting stories in both English and German.

Dragons never stop breathing fire. And neither do I, with an endless flow of ideas and stories I can’t wait to share.

In audio games, players can’t scroll back. 


They can’t “check the log.” They’re usually listening while cooking or commuting, not taking notes like a detective.

So if your story relies on the player remembering a random detail from minute 3 to survive minute 22, good luck. Your plot may be brilliant, but the format will eat it alive.

🐲 Audio narrative design has to support memory.

 Not through exposition dumps, but through systems that anchor recall:
+ Recurring motifs (a phrase, a sound, a location)
+ Audio cues that repeat at key moments
+ Mirrored consequences that call back to earlier actions

💡 These are structural tools, not flavor text. They let players remember without needing a rewind button. Because if your story only works when someone can reread it: you didn’t design for audio. You designed for a book.

If your characters agree too often, something is wrong. 🎬

Harmony might be great in real life (depending on who you ask), but on the page it’s story poison. When everyone shares the same opinion, makes the same choice, or nods politely in every scene… there’s nothing to watch. No movement. No friction. No reason for us to lean in.

Stories don’t run on plot twists alone 👉  they run on pressure.

Tiny disagreements. Conflicting priorities. One person wanting something now while the other wants it later. A silent “no” that derails a plan without a single shout.

Characters don’t need to scream at each other to create tension. 💡 They just need to want things that don’t align. Even slightly. That’s enough to make a scene feel alive.

🐲 So if your dialogue reads like everyone attended the same group therapy and agreed to be mature about it, throw in a value clash. A boundary. A secret. A refusal that doesn’t look like one.

I just finished reading HOW TO WRITE A VERTICAL SERIES IN 10 DAYS by Isabel Dréan, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation I had. 💜 

I went in hoping for a few insights.

What I got was a full, practical roadmap: tasks, exercises, industry guidance, and a crystal-clear breakdown of how to actually enter the vertical series world. It's easy to read, but more importantly, it's easy to apply. 🐲 The book basically screams, “Start now,” and as a screenwriter, that was exactly the push I needed.

Now I know exactly how to structure my vertical series portfolio and how to approach producers with my concepts. Huge thanks to Isabel for creating such a sharp, actionable guide: it immediately earned a place on my “write with purpose” shelf.

Some interactive stories love throwing choices at players like confetti.


A choice here, a choice there: none of them actually do anything, but hey, it feels interactive, right? 

🐲 No.

 That’s writing pretend-agency. It’s a novelty menu. It’s decorating the game with buttons that aren’t hooked to anything. 

Real narrative design is systemic.
👉 Choices should connect to variables that influence:
+ relationships (trust, fear, loyalty)
+ difficulty (risk, scarcity, knowledge)
+ consequences (routes, scenes, endings)
+ pacing (when info drops, when tension spikes)

If your branching doesn’t change the system, it’s not interaction: it’s decoration.

💡 Players don’t remember how many buttons you gave them. They remember how their choice changed the world, the character, or the story’s tone. We’re not designing “options.” We’re designing impact.

Everyone loves saying “games are the new IP goldmine”, until it’s time to adapt one and suddenly half the story disappears and the other half gets rewritten into something no fan recognizes. 🎮📺

Let’s be honest, most early world-building documents look like Pinterest boards in disguise. 👾 

Pretty aesthetics. Moody adjectives. 

But in audio games, vibes won’t save you. 👉 Rules will.

If the player can’t predict how the world behaves, they can’t make meaningful choices.

And if they can’t make meaningful choices… well, what are we even doing here?

Strong audio world-building isn’t about lore dumps: it’s about systems thinking:

🧩 Consistent logic
 Magic works the same every time.
 Social rules don’t change based on a writer’s mood.
 Danger has clear signals that the player can learn.

🔊 Predictable sensory cues
 A sound has a purpose. A silence has a consequence.
 The player should learn the world’s language without needing a codex.

👤 NPCs follow world rules too
 If everyone except the protagonist behaves like they’re in another genre, your world collapses faster than a badly mixed audio cue.

🗺️ Boundaries that define possibility
 The world needs limits. What can’t happen is just as important as what can.
Because a world with vibes but no rules isn’t a world. It’s a mood board with dialogue.

🐲 Design your world like a system, and the player will believe in it instantly.

Writers love to obsess over genre:
 “Is it a drama? A thriller? A dark comedy?”


👉 Here’s a secret: your tone decides that long before your logline does.


Take this:
 A couple argues in a car during a thunderstorm.
 💔 In a drama, it’s the last fight before they break up.
 😂 In a dark comedy, lightning strikes right as one says, “At least things can’t get worse.”
 🔪 In a thriller, someone’s bleeding in the trunk and the argument’s just a cover.

Same setup. Totally different story: all because of tone.

Tone tells your audience how to feel about what’s happening, even before the plot fully unfolds. It’s the lens through which they interpret every line, every silence.

🐲 So before rewriting your script for the tenth time, don’t change the plot. Change the tone. Sometimes it's even more effective.

Here’s something I learned writing for audio: if you build your episode like a typical visual game, escalating scene after escalating scene, your listeners will mentally check out by minute 12.


Why? 
👉 Because audio burns brainpower faster than visuals.
There’s no UI, no map, no screen to anchor attention. Just the player, their imagination, and whatever chaos you hand them.

That’s why audio episodes need chains, not ladders:
🔗 Repeat anchor points
 A recurring sound, phrase, or location the player can “grab” onto.

🔗 Linked beats instead of vertical escalation
 Scene → consequence → micro-turn → reorientation → next link
INSTEAD OF
Action → Bigger Action → Biggest Action → listener meltdown.

🔗 Reorientation moments
 Tiny resets that say, “Here’s where you are. Here’s what changed.”

🔗 A rhythm, not a sprint
The emotional pulse matters more than the scale of the event.

🐲 Because if your episode structure only works when players can stare at a screen, it won’t survive in audio. 

💡 Design for the listener’s brain, not the writer’s adrenaline.

Friday was a full-circle moment. 

I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating one year of Speak & Shine — the event that’s grown from Kier Adair's brave idea in the shower to hold a live event, into numerous more events, a bestselling book, a podcast, a membership site, and a platform that has helped so many women get seen, heard, and visible.

What started as a handful of us taking to the stage as the very first speakers in this community (shout out to the OG crew 🙌) has now become a movement.

And I couldn’t be prouder of the two powerhouse women behind it — Kier Adair and Gill McKay — for what they’ve built.   It feels so aligned with the work I do too: helping women rise with confidence, clarity, and impact and smashing though all the limiting beliefs that have kept us playing small.

To be awarded a mini 'Oscar' for my support was unexpected and genuinely touching too (and was a conversation starter on the train on the way home!)

I love sharing and supporting people whose mission I believe in — and these two embody integrity and inspiration in equal measure.

It was also lovely to reconnect with some amazing women who  I’ve got to know through this incredible community.

What energy are you showing up with today?
Because whether you realise it or not — the people around you and even your own future is 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 to it.

This past week I've been on a beautiful retreat in Egypt, and one evening we watched a performance by the "𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬" a traditional music and dance group inspired by Rumi.

Now, one guy in that group stood out to me.
One of the dancers was spinning in circles for 40 minutes straight without ever losing his balance (seriously 🤯), but even 'though he was incredible, it wasn't him.

No, it was the little guy on the side. 

He played the hand drum and these tiny cymbals at lightning speed, like castanets on fire.

What made him different was his energy and the smile on his face.
He gave that little bit extra with each move
He played like he was in love with every beat and he just radiated joy
 
Everyone in the room felt it.
He didn’t 𝘵𝘳𝘺 to stand out.
He just showed up as someone who gave his best.
And he stood out.

This is what magnetism looks like.
And it made me wonder:

👉 What kind of energy are YOU showing up with today?
 👉 Are you walking into the room with exhaustion, frustration, self-doubt... or something that pulls people towards you?
👉 What words are you hearing in your mind when you are working - what stories do you keep telling yourself about who you are?

Because like it or not, your thoughts and feelings affect your energy and your energy 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 goes first.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰!

You 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 be happy.
That’s what everyone tells you.

You’ve built a good career or a successful business
You’re doing “well.”
People probably even look up to you 

And yet…
You don’t feel it.

You may know it at a conscious thinking level
But you don't really feel it 

You’re achieving, 
But not feeling fully present.
 
And if you’re really honest, you can feel this low-level hum of anxiety that never really goes away.

 It’s not panic.
 It’s just… pressure.

Pressure of keeping up with what you think you "should" be achieving
Pressure of keeping everything together
pressure of living the life you think you should be and buying and having the things you think you should be having.

Constant
Quiet
Exhausting.

And at the same time, you have this deep burning desire for MORE.

You know you’re capable.
You know you’re meant for more.

But you can’t keep pushing through with a fake smile and a jam-packed calendar pretending this is the life you wanted.

You didn’t start your business to feel trapped by it.
You didn't work your way up in your career to feel empty like this.

You started because you had a calling 
And somewhere along the way, the 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 overtook the 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠

If this is resonating… you’re not broken.
You’re just disconnected from your own inner compass.

I heard this from a high-achieving woman last week and I recognised that feeling immediately.

But here's the thing.
It’s never a sign of losing yourself.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥…
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞

When you don’t recognise yourself, it’s usually because:
✨ You’re no longer willing to shrink
✨ You know you're here for more
✨ Your nervous system is updating old patterns
✨ You’re releasing patterns that kept you small
✨ Your values are shifting
✨ Your deeper self is finally calling you forward

But it shows up as feeling a bit lost, anxious and overworking in an attempt to motivate yourself and move you forwards, but still feeling unseen and unheard.   You may even notice some sabotaging patterns of behaviour sneaking in. 

But you’re not breaking 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 or falling apart.
You’re breaking 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩.

And this is exactly where your next level of impact begins:

At the 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, beneath the mindset and beneath the strategy.

🧠 When winning feels normal.....and then a bit flat

You've probably been there.  You've hit a milestone or a goal and you smashed the quarter. 

You’re “successful” by most people's standards including every definition you used to dream about yourself.

And yet, it feels a bit flat.  You can't quite put your finger on it because you can't really name it.  You're not really "burnt out" and you're not stuck.  

But there's a 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 (which is clue #1) 
And that feeling, feels a bit like the spark has dimmed (along with your energy levels), just low enough for you to notice.

You may even notice some patterns of self sabotage sneaking in.  

But you tell yourself it’s fine and it's just that you're busy and tired because of Christmas and trying to fit everything in....yada....yada....yada.

And you just think to yourself that if you can just push through for the last month of the year, then you can hire a new coach to help you tweak your strategy in your business and maybe a fitness coach to help you train your body and then you'll feel energised to start the new year like that EverReady Bunny....

Because that's what you do.

Push through. 

Add a new goal. Hire a new coach. Tweak the strategy.
Because what else is there?

Well what if it wasn't a "problem'? 

What if It’s a sign.

And the 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 is the clue.  The feeling you're getting is like a gentle knock on the door of your central nervous system telling you that you've hit your upper limit.

You've hit capacity.
NOT on 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 you are 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 of achieving.

𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞.

And this isn't a conscious level thought.

It comes from your central nervous system based on beliefs that are buried deep in your subconscious mind.

And when you don’t know how to interpret it, it can quietly start to unravel everything you’ve worked so hard to build.

So if you’ve been feeling a little disconnected and flat lately…
Like you should feel more lit up than you do…
Or you find patterns of self sabotage surfacing and you don't know why...

Just know that it's your next level of growth right there
And there IS a way through.
(And it’s not another strategy.)
