BCGI was an international business development subsidiary of BC Gas Inc. (now Terasen Gas Inc.) specialized in overseas technical consulting and training projects in natural gas distribution.

Played important part in new project identification, proposal development, due diligence and in managing relationships with foreign business partners and customers. Travelled frequently in Europe, the Middle East, India and South-America. During this time BCGI business activity grew significantly through several successful bids.

Directly responsible for export sales worth US$ 20 million yearly to injection, blow, and rotational molding, film, pipe, coating, fiber and pharmaceutical industries. Area of responsibility included markets in the Middle East, Indian sub-continent and North Africa. Managed foreign agents and serviced customers directly.
 
Very successful in selling differentiated products, which generated premium sales margins over standard products. Built, closed and served an active clientele of over 75 customers with increasing sales volumes every year.
