fundraising as a founder is the most bizarre experience.

on august 4th i got let go from my stable tech job. instead of job hunting, i decided to build something.

it hit home.

in every investor conversation, product demo, or hiring conversation, i can tell within the first 5 minutes if they're a fit.

their initial reaction tells me everything i need to know.

as we gear up for our seed round, here's the list of things you need to believe to believe in RallyUp:

1. trust has moved from companies to people.

faceless company pages, SEO, and traditional ads are dying. 

people buy from people. employee-led growth is the best way to build trust at scale in 2026 and beyond.

2. EGC is the next enterprise GTM standard.

employee-generated content isn't just a marketing tactic. it's the next standard for enterprise go-to-market, hiring, and sales. just like every company needs a crm, every enterprise will need an OS to manage their employees' social presence.

3. gamification helps solve the execution problem.

when two senior leaders leave a company in the same week, the default reaction is fear.

the best talent isn't leaving because companies are failing.

and honestly? i get it.

2019: employees could get fired for filming at work.

2026: employees get paid and promoted for it.

impressions are down ~20% platform-wide. sponsored posts now eat up 11% of the feed (up from 5% two years ago).

attention is more expensive than ever and the brands winning aren't spending more.
