I help people change their minds—so they can become the version of themselves they’ve always wanted to be.  

But mostly, I write for my 5-years-ago self.  

Once upon a time, I lived a 6/10 life. I felt trapped in the rat race of trading time (and happiness) for money.  

Then I lost my job during the pandemic and thought, “Well, this sucks.” But deep down, I felt this weird...knowing. I knew it was time to build a different life.  

Since then, I’ve quit jobs, rebuilt my income from $0 to $16K/month, and learned that failure isn’t the end—it’s just an awkward, sometimes embarrassing beginning. Now, I write, coach, and create content for people ready to leap out of their comfort zones and into their potential.  

Proof that It’s Possible:
- My articles were read 32,724 times in my first 6 months on Medium.  
- I helped a client earn $62,000 in 6 months through storytelling and email marketing.  
- I’ve guided 296 people through starting their own online businesses.  

What I Believe:
- Accountability is the foundation of self-confidence (and no, it’s not as boring as it sounds).  
- Growth is uncomfortable, but staying stuck is like choosing to wear wet socks forever.  
- Leap first, learn as you go, and don’t worry if you look like an inspired idiot.

I felt nervous about paying for a wedding.
But honestly? I’m so so happy we did.

One piece of advice I’d give any future brides / grooms:
Be willing to say no to things you don’t want.

Give yourself permission to be proud of doing it your way.

For us, it looked like:

1. Agreeing on what was important and what wasn’t.

We wanted great videography.
But didn’t care as much about expensive florals.

2. Making a simple rule for the guest list:

If you’d met us both…
If you’re supporting our goals…
If you’re a positive person to be around…
you were invited.

3. Asking stupid questions.

Actually reading agreements to know what we were paying for.
Asking for changes when we wanted something different.
Skipping “traditions” that didn’t feel right.

We made our wedding our own.
(And didn’t go into debt trying to please everybody else).

And after watching this like 20x now, I can honestly say:
It was worth every single penny.

I ghostwrite for 8-figure entrepreneurs, close high-ticket sales, and create content on mindset, success psychology, and building a tropical food forest greenhouse in Canada!

I’m not gonna lie. 
Most of the DMs I get give me that
“uh-oh, here comes the pitch” feeling.

No wonder everyone’s turning to AI. 

It might steal your job…but at least it doesn’t pretend to be your friend first.

Honestly, I don’t have a perfect solution. 

But here’s the approach I take to prospecting:

1. Talk like yourself. 

Trying to sound “professional” usually makes you sound weird. 

Just speak like you would to a friend. 

2. Be specific. 

It’s very easy to spot a copy-and-pasted script. 

Mentioning details about them, their business, their posts makes ALL the difference. 

3. Only reach out to people you have REAL interest in working with. 

And be upfront about what that is. 

“I’m messaging you because I really like…”
“Your message about ___ stuck with me…”
“I’m passionate about [your niche]”

Prospecting gets a lot easier when you remember to treat people like people.

Imagine charging your next client $50k.

Would you feel good about that?

For most of us, probably not.
Because we don't feel our offer is worth that.

And selling is a transfer of emotion, after all.

One of the most common excuses I hear:
I can't start prospecting because...

"I'm not done my website yet."
"I don't have my business cards."
"I need to get X, Y, Z done first."

Nope. 

All of these = procrastination disguised as productivity.

Shamieka teaches her clients this:

If you're not at 6 figures yet with your business, your only goal should be sales.

So, if what you're working on isn't directly leading to sales...
